just breaking!!!!!!!!
I must have hit a nerve considering the venom that is being spewed. Then again, it is from the usual rabid Bush haters so I'm used to it. Just another thing the far right has in common with the far left. The both use the tactic of attacking and attempting to destroy anyone they don't like.
Oh happy day!
Luttig - I'm with you, Dave!
It was funny then..... in a creepy, cultish kind of way.
Very good points both of you.
The GOP has no party discipline. One of the things that has enabled the Dems to become so powerful is that, even when they are in the minority, they adhere to party discipline, do what they are told and support their leaders. Objectively, this is a bad thing; but from a political point of view, it is the only thing that works. They must be really happy now, having watched us do their dirty work for them.
Headline: No action today in CIA leak investigation/
Good.
No, they don't.
Like Miss Miers, they pretty much have no track record, since they only get elected to dog catcher or city council.
Moderates have a demonstrable track record of untrustworthiness. See: Voinovich, et. al.
And who knows, it may have been a poker play. (who knows?!) we never will. let's just hope this next nominee is purrfect!
"The only thing appropriate at this point is to PURGE Conservative ranks of the sunshine patriots. That starts with, interestingly enough, the banishment of National Review On Line and their running dog lackeys like the arch traitor "Chucky" Krauthammer.Bwaaaahahaha!!!Then we can get started on more detailed stuff."
I believe it's time to take your....
Wow, HE is?
Given his limited choices, it will be Edith Clement (who was almost picked before Roberts) or Williams from SC (whom I know nothing about).
It will not be Brown.
The good news is that, hopefully, the ubers will now support whomever Bush puts forward. I'm listening to Laura Ingraham for the first time in months, and she is STILL trashing Miers while saying she did the right thing.

I concede that your thinking regarding the issue of gender is correct, although I disapprove strongly of such a consideration. I hope you are also correct about support for Bush's next nomination, although from many of the posts I have seen, I wonder.
Learn some manners.
I hope Bush can find someone good who's brave enough to jump aboard the runaway train known as the Judicial Nomination process Express.
From every segment of the right.
I can't emphasize this highly enough.
Fiscal conservatives, populists, libertarians, Objectivists, social conservatives, property rights activists, textualists, "Constitution in exile" scholars, Roman Catholics, evangelicals, civil libertarians, ad infinitum.
I posted a poll on Protest Warrior gauging the sentiment of that website's users, where they were offered eight alternatives to Harriet Miers.
JRB garnered over ninety percent of the vote.
She's a uniter, not a divider.
Nuff said.
OMg, Trent Lott on CNN asked who the President should nominate now
His Answer: The best man, woman or minority.
Foolish phrasing.
Also his genertal tone seemed to be "I hope that the President doesn't punish conservatives too much."
Eeewwww! Feel like you need a shower now?
Just responding to your lame post.
