FOX News (Click here for MUST SEE Video) ^ | Brit Hume and Major Garrett

Posted on 09/07/2005 3:35:54 PM PDT by NickatNite2003

Just heard on FOX that Blanco refused to allow supplies to be brought to the stadium, "Because they wanted all those people to leave, and they didn't want to create a magnet to bring others there, by bringing in food and water!"""

I'm a woman and if you flame me I'll just ignore it because I like to start fights and then run away.

In a moment for a woman politician to take charge and shine, Blanco melted like a little girl.

If this is the same report that I heard earlier today, it was reported that they died after all of the nurses/caregivers evacuated without them!!

Gallup's new poll shows only 13% of Americans blame Bush for any delays/screw-ups associated with search and rescue and delivering relief aid. That means the Valerie Plame issue didn't stick, Peace Mother Sheehan's rants and raves had no net affect, and attempting to blame the President for Mayor Nagin's and Governor Blanco's ineptness didn't work. The MSM lost another one, so the score stands at:

Bush= 3 MSM= 0

What you said.

The vast majority of American women are Oprahfied fools. Looks like we can count Blanco in that ever-growing group.

I just got a breaking news that 25-30 bodies have been found in a St. Bernard parish nursing home.

Yeah. This is where I'm getting to feel more like I did on 9/11 - angry and sad at the same time. Before I was just sad, but I am getting angier and angrier the more I ponder what Blanco and Nagin "did to those poor people."

I realize it was a hurricane, but one doesn't abandon the old and infirm in the face of a storm 2 days out.

"Actually, I have heard similar things several times already, including here at FR, and from some of the TV journalists, to the effect that ambulances, national guard, and rescue supplies were piling up outside of town for several days awaiting the governor's order to go in, an order she withheld because conditions inside the city were not safe enough to risk putting people in there.

That is a decision that may or may not have been wise, but which if she were honest she would have stood behind. Instead she quietly held the rescuers back while blaming Bush for what she herself had ordered.

It was only the arrival of General Honore and his effectively taking over the operation that finally broke the logjam."

WOW. It makes a total liar out of Parsih President Broussard and other Dem-wits who were blaming the Feds for the inaction.

It also makes total sense now.
The failure to call the Nat Guard and the failure to keep the superdome situation in order.

The name of the Louisiana Homeland Security Director is Terry Ebberts. He did absolutely NOTHING to prepare for this disaster, and stood around afterwards, wiping the blood from his hands as he said about the federal response: "It's a national disgrace."

Anybody seen Ebberts? I don't even know what he looks like.

so it's no wonder the returning Aussie tourists are all saying they were terrified they might not escape from the Dome alive?

HUMMM, now we know why BUSH had to fly to Baton Rouge to confront this brainless bitch face to face. But it looks like she's up to her old tricks. No mandatory evacuations.

From the Red Cross website (link above):

Hurricane Katrina: Why is the Red Cross not in New Orleans?

Acess to New Orleans is controlled by the National Guard and local authorities and while we are in constant contact with them, we simply cannot enter New Orleans against their orders.

The state Homeland Security Department had requested--and continues to request--that the American Red Cross not come back into New Orleans following the hurricane. Our presence would keep people from evacuating and encourage others to come into the city.

......This heinous behavior of BalnkoJerko calls for her to face murder charges......

let's explore this thought. Ther was a 45 page disaster plan with explicit directions to be followed for a category 3+ hurricane. This plan called for the extraction of 100, 000 poor and invalid people by the local government with the busses available. This had force of law.

The Governor et al purposely disregarded the disaster plan. Did the Governor break the law and if so is she subject to jail and then is the state liable for her malfeasance?

Notice the MSM didn't run a survey on "Who do you think is to blame for the current mess?"

Sweet Jesus, they herded those people into the Superdome to die like animals, and then just took off in their limos and jets to five-star hotels to ride the storm out, thinking they could just blame any deaths on George Bush.

If these people, especially at the state level, had any shred of decency, they would resign in disgrace and beg not to be prosecuted for their criminal negligence. Instead, to this day they do nothing but continue to try and score political advantage off their negligence at the expense of President Bush, fully aided and abetted by the media.

The deliberate starvation and dehydration of those seeking shelter in the Superdome is an atrocity worthy of a war crime tribunal. It's the kind of inhumanity for which Nazi's were shot and hanged.

What the governor of Louisiana did in refusing sustenance is nothing short of a crime against humanity which should require her trial for mass murder and attempted mass murder for the deaths and near-deaths which took place at the Superdome.

This woman needs to be arrested on charges of attempted murder, or (if it can be done) charges of attempted genocide.

Just damn.

If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
