Gallup's new poll shows only 13% of Americans blame Bush for any delays/screw-ups associated with search and rescue and delivering relief aid. That means the Valerie Plame issue didn't stick, Peace Mother Sheehan's rants and raves had no net affect, and attempting to blame the President for Mayor Nagin's and Governor Blanco's ineptness didn't work. The MSM lost another one, so the score stands at:
Bush= 3 MSM= 0
Notice the MSM didn't run a survey on "Who do you think is to blame for the current mess?"
I think it's more than 3 - there was also the "forged documents" issue and the "military targets reporters" issue .. those are the 2 that come to mind at the moment.
The Dems have been out in force today trying to change that number.
Then why are his ratings so low right now?
I believe this is further testimony that despite desperate attempts to derail and bash BUSH the OLD LIBERAL MEDIA just does not have the CLOUT it used to. You can see it too by their rants and over-the-top editorials. They KNOW they're losing the battle and customers, and like their DIMocratic politicos they JUST CANT STAND IT. Watch for more and MORE ranting and raving as the TRUTH of whose to blame for this fiasco becomes even MORE CLEAR!
