Move America Forward will be conducting the You Dont Speak for Me, Cindy caravan beginning next week. It will feature military family members who have loved ones serving in the war against terrorism in Iraq or Afghanistan. The delegation will be led by Deborah Johns of Marine Moms. (Her son has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom).
Main caravan leaves from San Francisco, California on Monday, August 22nd. Other caravans will depart from around the country. If you want to be part of a caravan, email us with your name and location you will depart from and we will include in our caravan coverage so people in your area can depart with you.
Everyone arrives in Crawford, Texas for a giant We Support Our Troops AND Their Mission Rally on Saturday, August 27, 2005.
If you have a loved one serving in Iraq or Afghanistan and would like to join the caravan please contact Move America Forwards Robert Dixon: Robert@MoveAmericaForward.org
I just sent her a missive. This needs to be a vanity so more will respond to that stupid comment of hers.
She was not a Kerry supporter initially. She was very much behind the President.
When she returned from meeting with him, she was very much behind him as was her family. It was only AFTER meeting with the Kerry camp that things started to change.
That's why you see so many letters to the editor in the Vacaville Reporter about her "being used."
They gave her and her daughter, Carly, a lot of attention and paid all their expenses throughout the United States. The other liberal groups jumped in, offering more. Obviously, she needed a lot of attention and set herself apart from all the other military families in town with whom one would only suspect she would identify.
Anyway, this explains why Cindy had not addressed this within her own town or tried to organize here but instead associated with the Berkeley "radicals."

I'll do the post, if nobody has done so, yet...
Thanks....I really appreciate it..can you cut and paste all her posts from #700?...I hope that's not too much trouble.
Not at all...well worth the effort, IMHO
Thank you...
I just figured out how to do it but didn't post these posts. I am glad someone is copying them and posting them.
I checked the time lines of the situation.
Casey died 4/3/04 and John Kerry was supporting Al Sadr, the terrorists, whose men had been killing out soldiers in Iraq on 4/7/04.
It was before August that the Kerry camp came to Vacaville to meet with her and we had spoken to Kerry, blasting him on his comments around mid April. At that time, Cindy was behind the President and knew of Kerry's remarks.
By autumn, she was on the road with his campaign.
Saw your thead...you did good....LOL....
It's sad that grief and money have, perhaps, blinded this woman to the consequences of her actions.
Pitiable, actually.
Please ping me, justanobody, SoldiersPrayingMom and Smartass to the Mom of Two Soldiers thread... please..?
I appreciate your sending something too. It seemed like a snide comment to me. At the very least an uninformed one.
I have no problem informing someone! Even if it takes massive amounts of emails!
Ping.
God bless America, our President and our troops.
Leni
All I can say is THANK YOU. And a special THANK YOU to your two soldiers.
Thank you for helping to get the story of Cindy Sheehan out. Thank you for supporting our military. Thank you for meeting the caravan.
Many hugs from my family.
Here's your new thread, thanks to HiJinx:

Thanks!
God bless the U.S.A.
I just saw Mrs. Johns and Melanie Morgan on CNN. I hope they keep up the good work!
I think by the time I was there a week, I was still suffering from jet lag. It was beautiful though...and I'll never foget the hotel we stayed in until we found a place to live.
I didn't get to see all the places I wanted to, so I still want to go back. ;o]
Take lots of photos!
