Still think there might be a connection between Luttig being in the 4th Circuit and Dole representing a state in that district. Also, the White House made notice that they consulted Byrd. West Virginia is also in the 4th.

Add me to the list of people who believe he is a visionary. I know that will invite the usual complaints. Believing someone is a visionary, does not mean we are blind to problems.

I think his insight into the Middle East is what the English lacked after the Ottoman Empire was broken into the misery which stands today. Not the thread for this discussion, but I wanted to let you know that others agree with you guys.
