TICK TOCK...............
Red state.org now reporting that some US Senators are getting frustrated that Bush has not given them a name yet.
WH annonced there will be no questions taken at tonight's announcement. Wonder why.
Owen would be interesting, because she just got confirmed as a result of the gang of 14 compromise. They'd have a tough time changing their votes from only a month ago.
Speaking of Hugh Hewitt---did you listen to his show last night?
He was asking for caller's opinions of the Muslims/Islam, and whenever someone called and said that they thought they should be profiled, he didn't like it...
He said that "Nativism" is getting TOO rampant in America...
I was shocked, because I feel the opposite...I think that multiculturalism is TOO rampant.
"WH annonced there will be no questions taken at tonight's announcement. Wonder why."
Last minute changes in their choice, I would guess. No time to prep for questions.
Let me guess which ones. Uh... Reid, Kennedy, Biden, Leahy, Schumer, Clinton, Boxer, Byrd, Durbin...yada yada.
I think it's hilarious the name's being kept from them. Makes the RATS sweat big time.
I'm really surprised that Spectre hasn't shown his face to the nearest camera. He's second only to schumer in camera time.
LOVE IT!!!
I'm thinking Laura Ingraham will also be working overtime tonight on WABC after Levin.
Kennedy's fuming that the announcement will happen after Happy Hour!!
' whoever the nominee is, the FIRST question she will be asked by the media is: "Do you think Karl Rove should be fired?" '
ROFL! Wouldn't be a surprise, that's for sure. And last year, it would have been about Abu 'Grab'.
;^)
That wasn't nice! I think President Bush does quite well at pressers!
I would have scoffed at the idea myself that the pick was still being changed as late as this afternoon ... until I saw this report from ABC news:
[Clement] received a phone call from the White House this afternoon. According to the source, Clement was thanked for meeting with the president and sharing her views on the Supreme Court, but that the administration has decided to go in a different direction.
Luttig's kids are dressed up according to National Review Magazine, no one dresses up his kids if he is going to not get the job http://bench.nationalreview.com/
Levin now crowing on WABC!
I don't think that ABC news is a place I would put any trust into. Do you believe all the MSM?
That lets me out - my kids haven't gotten dressed up in years. :)
This didn't completely wiped out Rove talk....
I turned to Air America twice today, one time, they were griping about Rove,....the other time, they were complaining about Bush going into a "weaponless" Iraq!
