White House reporter John King at CNN says he is getting 'pushback' from those closely involved in the selection process that he 'should not go there' with Edith Jones Clement.
Update: Within the past hour staffers on the Senate Judiciary Committee have begun steering people away from her.
ABC News reports Clement received a phone call and will NOT be the nominee

Temperature is in the 70's every day...whilst you are FREEZING. HA!
Please, let it be Jones.
I'll be jiggered. I'd never heard that one before.
We'll get Mark Levin in 20 minutes on WABC, he should have some good sources on this.
Hard time.
Got to go get some work done. See you all later! I will check in again around announcement time.
Cheerio.
I don't think I like you anymore. ;)
I saw Clement was because she is not considered now. Sorry, I didn't mean to make people think she passed away or anything.
I hope she has caller ID.
I kind of liked to read that she was smiling...she likely has some unique insight on the subject.
Do you think she *69'd just to be sure?
W"hen Edith Clements was a judge in Lousiania she sentences Campbell Brown's, (you saw it right CAMPBELL BROWN, the journalists,) father to 6 months in prison.
Oh, we need to send that Judge some FReeper roses!
