Howlin, (or anybody)
How about listing the skinny on Clement.
Basically, was she a strict Constitutionalist/originalist, or was she an O'Connor type (you know, a RAT-like liberal that some call a "moderate")?
If she was a Constitutionalist (like Robert Bork), then we know the pick is likely to be a "moderate", a sugar-coated name for a liberal.

You're full of it and don't use that tone with me. Anyone that signs a bill which he believes to be unconstitutional doesn't have a clue as to what his duties are. Nor does he have a sense of history, or tradition, or an imagination of what a great country is to be like.
If you care to debate whether GWB is a great, imaginative thinker then bring it on. I don't think you're going to win that. Bush the next Churchill? Give me a break. I don't even think that he would aspire to that, or even understand what that means. Then again now that I think about it, obviously you don't either.
Hopefully tonight he will surprise me. I can only hope.

My son Jonathan is taking them, he lives in Bloomington, Il and is a big Cubs fan...he was going to sell them on e-bay, but I told him that his uncle would be VERY upset with him if he did.....don't upset Uncle Bill!

As the MSM goes berserk looking for leaks, I picture WH people whispering into the phones, "but you people don't want this WH to leak, remember."
Click.

70 with no humidity That, coincientally, is what the MLB always reports the diamondbacks home field is at.

Clement was a Souter-type. We really don't know what she thinks, and I have heard that she agreed with Roe V Wade

Just got home from work and haven't had time to read any posts, but I want to say this: I've been listening to the radio all day and folks are worried that W might let us down. But, IMHO, many of us conservatives are misunderestimating the President on his choice. He ranted way too much during the election about judges legislating from the bench, to let us down! Let's wait and see!

Relax, Torie Clarke is brilliant. She does not need to argue with an idiot like Donna Brazille.
