I would not be surprised if the audience had been told in advance not to break in with applause. This was not supposed to look like a gung-ho type of speech, but was supposed to be more thoughtful. That was my take, at least.

Nancy Pelosi says you know the president is on shakey ground when he mentions 9-ll so many times. On NBC with brian Williams, she's on the full attack. She's now called the president a liar. "just because he said the Iraqis are being trrained doesn't make it so", she says. "Truth and trust" is what we don't have in the president.

Brian Williams is feeding her the questions which enable her free-flowing venom to spew forth.

I watched the President's speech with my twin sons who are in the Delayed Entry Program and will go to Marine Corps boot camp in a few months.

Interesting. My Mother and my husband are both Bush-haters. The mentions of 911 were the first criticisms out of their mouths. I reminded them that 911 was important and we should never forget. I think our President is wonderful.
