Wish we got that here.

The President's Speech was good, at the end, when he started getting emotional and stopped smiling. Otherwise, I can't say it was one of his best.

How can he say that Iraq will have Freedom of Religion and minority rights when they mandate ISLAM as the state religion?

How can he say that he stands for "not waiting to be attacked again"? When in fact, our Marines have to wait in the desert in western Iraq, for our enemies to decide when they want to come over from their sanctuary in Syria?

How can he say we have to defeat them abroad before they come here, when he refuses to guard our border?

He talks of rebuilding while still at war as if it were a good idea, when in fact it is a terrible idea. Out troops should be doing what they are trained to do, fight, win, then rebuild.

Nope, this speech was not a good one. Better than nothing yes.

Ya know, we've been fighting a war on poverty for 40 years with no end in sight. Isn't it about time we get an exit strategy and set a date for ending the funding?

Heard him in the background on the radio. They shut him off, thankfully.

David Gergen on CNN saying Democratic will be spitting mad about all the references to 9-11.

They are mad about this because it works to remind people of who started this thing and what kind of sub-humans we are dealing with. Remember that 9-11 was said to WAKE THE SLEEPING GIANT? Well, the MSM wants us to go back to sleep and reminders of 9-11 don't make us comfortable.

I personally think it would be effective if they would've showed ten seconds of video of the planes slamming into the WTC, followed by a short memorial prayer for the men and women who took over the flight and slammed it into the Pennsylvania field so it wouldn't hit the Capitol or WHite House, followed by the bullhorn scene, all ended with: I just wanted to remind you that I said we wouldn't falter and we wouldn't fail...

If the Dems heads all exploded simultaneously at that point, so much the better...

There have been political opportunists in the Military. That does not take away from their service.

I guess Wesley forgets that when he worked for Clinton that the Justice Department issues an indictment against OBL (how's that for strength?) which specifically mentioned OBL's connection to Iraq.

"Pray for him continually. He is surrounded by hatred."

He needs our prayers and I also pray for him every day. Yes, he is surrounded by hatred and I pray for God to keep him safe from the evil forces around him.

So the insurgents are implanting IUDs, per Matthews. It was a funny blooper moment.

Not a day passes where I forget.

All the Libs succeed in doing by mounting their coordinated campaigns against the war is to sharpen our focus back on the necessity of the war. This is not an area where we are going to be worn down. Dems can pound sand.

My flag flys every day weather permits, there is also one on my van's bumper along with the large yellow ribbon on the dash board and the W stickers on the back window with the I support Our Troops sticker. My late husband calls it my political mobile.
