The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

How do you know that? Is it possible that Beth Twitty knows more about what is transpiring in Aruba with this case than any of us on FR?

I do not KNOW anything beyond what has been reported on these threads. I am speculating just as everyone else here is. Certainly I will rejoice if Natalee Holloway is found alive.

However it does not make sense to me that someone kidnapped Natalee and has been moving her around the island for nearly four weeks. We should know more in that regard when the Equussearch team hits the ground.

I would be extremely happy to be wrong.

Shortly after the mother of a high school senior missing in Aruba pleaded for more help from the U.S. government, the State Department issued confirmation that it was involved in the search, FOX News has learned.

Though bound by the Privacy Act from commenting too much on the case of missing Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway, spokesman Sean McCormack said State Department officials learned of her disappearance in the Caribbean resort island on June 1 and is doing what it can to assist the family, FOX has learned.

"Natalie's family have arrived in Aruba. And a consular officer from Curacao is in Aruba at this time and is in contact with the family," McCormack said in a statement. "We are making sure that we provide all possible assistance to the family and local authorities."

He added that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is also in Aruba "cooperating with local authorities in the search effort."

Earlier Friday, Natalee Holloway's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, called for more help from the United States in the massive search under way in Aruba.

Police and volunteers there combed beaches and scrubland for a fifth consecutive day Friday on the Dutch Caribbean island.

Why not? Who knows why someone would kidnap her? Her family seems to have some idea. The fact that congressmen, Condi Rice, FBI invovlement (sent in right away), tells me that her stepdad has political/govt. connections. He does business in venezuela, not exactly friendly territory or far from aruba, so who knows.

Do you remember hearing about Joran having to take anger management classes? Palladin mentioned it in his post #425 and I'm wondering if it is a fact or a rumor.

I think it must be true. Wasn't Mama asked that by Greta, and Mama replied that J was upset a lot that Papa had to be away at judge school or something, and he was angry.

In a comment up above somewhere, someone posted that J threw someone through a window at school, just the week before N went missing.

I read on one of the other sites yesterday that Natalee's real father is an ex-special ops guy. This has not been confirmed, nor have I researched it.

How did an impaired Natalee get into the house at 3:00 am without the father's knowledge? Doesn't seem feasible, certainly some noise would have at least roused the dogs. Secondly, why was she there?

She had to have gotten there by being picked up by PvdS, there wouldn't have been another way, correct? J didn't have the car, and the K brothers were apparently back at home by that time. If N was at that house, P drove her there, that's my guess.

IMHO, The Kalpoe brothers could now be telling the truth, that they did indeed drop JvdS near the Marriott. End of story for them, except they conspired in the lighthouse story and may have knowledge/involvement with the date rape drug.

I think they're finally telling the truth too.

It will be interesting to see however who else is brought in for questioning, since Beth and Jug have both said (I think) that there are at least 7 or 8 more people who may have some knowledge of this.

Of course, maybe one of these other so far unknown to us people was involved in transporting N to the house.

I tthink her step dad's venezuelan connection is more current and interesting. The drugs and heaven knows what that flows through those islands from columbia and venezuela on their way here, is tremendous. Which raises the probability of corrupt island officials greatly. I'm sure there are other things chavez would love to send up our way.

I am not here trying to dash other's hopes. I was merely stating that something didn't make sense to me. I've been to Aruba and driven all around it. I do not see why someone who kidnapped her would still have her on the island after four weeks of having this kind of attention focused there.

I also read that at the very beginning of all this. I have not yet seen it confirmed. (Some were initially saying that it was HIS connections that were mobilizing the State Department, FBI, and private jets. That proved not to be the case.)

Just now on Fox that the FBI is beefing up their presence on Aruba. Hmmm.

Well, that is certainly interesting since earlier in the week I thought some of them were going home, because there wasn't enough for them to do. Maybe there are even more arrests coming (the 7 or 8 that Beth mentioned might be) and they got a heads-up.
