Bringing in an outside judge was a move to demonstrate impartiality.

All the more reason for letting the FBI assist in the investigation, to REMOVE doubts of impartiality. Thanks for helping to make my point! :)

Talking about girlfriends brought this to mind - an incident from many years ago...

My daughter, who happens to be quite beautiful,was in a car accident - car totaled - my son met up my daughter's 'best friend' - as he was describing what happened to the car - she interrupts and says, "What happened to her face".

Jealously. Not saying Natalee's friend is BUT I'm not saying she isn't.

PS - not a scratch on my daughter's face but she did break her jaw.

Today the plan is to spend the day with Natalee's mother... let's see if the plan is carried out.

Interesting add on comment by Greta.

Also, just caught Greta on the Factor and she said that after she and Natalee's mom had met for 90 minutes yesterday, that Natalees mom pressed to be able to do so the following day. TODAY. She wanted ACCESS. So, it was a greed upon by the Sloots. So Greta was to spend the whold day with Natalee's mom Today to see how she pends her day, PLUS have a second interview with the Sloots. The meeting was set for 3 pm.

As time approached Natalee's mom told Greta she couldn't make the appointment with the Sloots. Odd considering that she presed them so hard for this appointment and ACCESS the day before. Not to mention rude. Sorry, but she wanted the appointment then pulled a no show. Time will tell, I guess, if her time was better spent. Maybe she thought Greta could ask better questions, or maybe she thought they would reveal more, to Greta. We'll see.

Fruedian slip, concerning the shark watching?

Been gone most of the day, and it doesn't look like much is happening.

Just a thought here, but it's impossible for me to imagine that Joran would have left any girl asleep on the beach at that hour in the early morning...AND he knew she had a plane to catch in a few hours.

Or has this part of the story been retracted yet?

Yeah, going to see the sharks at 1-2 am sounded strange to me. (Unless they were white sharks, LOL). Maybe they were going to use some Night Vision gear like the military has??? That explanation of his did not make sense.

But, then, I wonder why would Deepak say such a strange thing that could be debunked so easily, unless it really was true and just some dumb thing Natalee asked to do. You know, if she was drunk, or even had a little "buzz" on she could have said that. Whatever, the whole thing is still all very "fishy." (Excuse me, I couldn't resist)

Sharks are hunters. They're drawn to blood. Here's a differring view:

You might have one niggling question: "Great fun, but what about sharks?". Sharks are often portrayed in movies as vicious and aggressive man-eaters. In reality, however, sharks keep to themselves and the chances of getting injured by a shark are much less than the chances of being struck by lightning! It's good to learn sharks prefer to keep to themselves and don't bother you as long you don't bother them. Other dangerous fish will leave you alone if you leave them alone. Sharks are more like scavengers than predators, and it is very rare to get injured by marine animals. Accidents only happen if the animal feels it has to defend itself because it is being provoked in some way by divers. The golden rule for divers is to dive sensibly and responsibly. Some corals and sponges may be harmful but this will only be the case if you touch them. In case you accidentally touch or scrape one, your dive master can quite easily treat the sting with an ointment he will carry with him to the diving location.

Totally self serving twaddle by Deepak. The Natalee portrayed here possesses the total opposite of her known character. She's pushy, aggressive, falling down drunk, and chasing men. Also has gambled away $360 of her father's money. Deepak and his brother and chum, Joran, are complete gentlemen, taken advantage of by this slut, and how mean is that! To top it off, they implicate the black guards. No police officer in his right mind would buy this lock, stock, and barrel since the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle, and the girl is missing. This could be the original story, however. They're just stupid and young enough to think it would work.

Deepak's story stinks to high heaven! Everyone who knows Natalee knows it too. This is the story the three of them rehearsed over and over again. They know damn well what happened to Natalee because they're responsible for her disappearance & possible death.

Did anyone notice O'Reilly's power trips tonight on Greta and Alan? When he wasn't belittling them, he was condescending.....and he indulged in the usual cutting off with Greta. Very strange behavior towards his felllow Fox employees. He certainly is an egomaniac, plus a know-it-all of the first order.

But then, we know that.

Of course, O'R is the STAR in the Fox pecking order.
