I hereby coin a new phrase:

Up your durbin.

Example: Senator Durbin, up your durbin with your treasonous comments.

I agree with you .. and I wouldn't put anything past her because I believe Conyers and Rangel do her bidding - putting the impeachment stuff out there while she remains in the background.

Her hatred for the repubs who impeached her scum of a husband is a lot of what drives her.

But .. now that Durbin has issued an apology or partial retraction .. Hillary can remain out of the fray. I can't help but wonder if the dems planned all this. They're so evil and corrupt.

C'mon .. can we act like we're civilzed here .. making stupid comments like that serves no purpose except making us look like the KOOKS on the left.

No spell check, eh?

What you just said, made everyone more stupid for reading it.

I simply suggested a proper trial for sedition for Durbin, then the proper punishment if found guilty. If you, in your divine wisdom, think that is a "stupid comment" and "serves no purpose", SAVE your keyboard and your hopefully temporary cloudy thinking for another forum.

Excuse me .. suggesting to hang someone is not "proper" treatment for sedition. Hanging is not allowed .. so like I said .. your comment makes us look like a bunch of vigilantes .. which we're not.

And .. you did not suggest a "proper" trial - you said we should hang him in a public square.

I just sent my own email to Durbin as follows:

"I have carefully studied your original statement about the treatment of the Guantanamo Bay detainees and I have also read your recent clarification of it. Having served 20 years [both enlisted and commissioned service] I have a personal and professional military background that you obviously lack. Because of my background and experience, I am acutely aware of how damaging statements such as yours can be and are to the morale of the men and women who must perform these difficult and thankless tasks. You have insulted and dishonored good men and women and their families throughout our nation. Moreover, you have dishonored and belittled the victims of the Nazi Holocaust and of Stalin's gulags.

"I will never read or hear your name again without thinking, 'This is the politically ambitious and self-important man without military experience or background, who flippantly and gratuitously on the Senate Floor compared great and good American soldiers, my friends and compatriots, to mass-murdering agents of the Nazi Holocaust and to Stalin's genocidal thugs.' You, being a reasonably well educated man, cannot even plead gross ignorance in your defense.

"I have witnessed vile men say and do despicable things in my life, but what you have done ranks near the top of the list, not just because of what you said, but because of where you said it, and because of who you must have known it would hurt."

I just emailed both of my Senators on this issue. Now will wait to see if they will speak out or not. I presumed the one will and the other won't.

I don't know if you can't read or what. Here is what I wrote..... notice the word trial! And lighten up, copper!

***

I wrote: "Durbin should be hung in the public square........ after his trial for sedition of course."

Now if you must, be a fool with someone else. I worked since 3:00 a.m. this morning and am not done, and am in no mood to deflect ignorant comments. You are usually a lot more alert than this.

I think the most effective way is to email his contributers:

Hurt him where it counts!

***Censure is needed, ASAP. ***

And a heavy frying pan applied to his skull would be good too.

Amen! I'd like to get on that line!

Have the rest of you called your senators?

I faxed my Republican senator and wasn't going to bother with my democrat senator, but I had second thoughts and e-mailed her.
