"uncompensated costs"
How about this: instead of jailing them, dip them in indelible day-glow dye, head to foot, a different color for each day of the week, then give them seven days to get out of the country.
Starting Monday, it's shoot on sight for anybody who's purple; Tuesday it's open season on anybody who's purple or green; Wednesday, purple, green, and blue, etc.
Whatever. GWB, whom I volunteered for a week on my own dime for 2004 election, has been so out to lunch this term it almost makes you wonder whether his critics who we all laugh and mock were all that wrong?
And an excellent "fishing" tool it is. ;)
"Start getting really violent in return and they will get the message."
Sorry. Can't do that. Mecha would get all upset and want New Mexico back.
Rwad about how Patton dealt with these criminals. We are finished, however. The tide is definately going in the wrong direction.

Yeah? Well, let them come and try to take it back.
Oh...wait a minute...
Very good idea! When do we start?
I am so shocked at how timid we are in the face of criminals on the homefront. We blow people up over there, but welcome the robber into our house here and wonder why he steals.
Bush and the GOP have been bad on this and many many issues these term, so bad in fact that I think ever GOPer in office needs to be defeated, thrown out in primary would be best but if not then defeated in the general election. We need to send the GOP a meassage they will NEVER forget, sellout the nation for cheap labor and you will never hold an office of public trust ever again.
In my opinion they are no different on this issue. Yes GWB took the war overseas. However, after 9/11, it was found that the 19 hijackers had 64 drivers licenses between them. They over stayed visas. What have we done about it? Squat!
In fact, the few people who try to do something about it are called vigilantes.
Do you really think we are not going to be attacked again? By not doing anything about our weakest areas, we are just as vulnerable and the terrorists are only biding time while sucking our country dry.
It wouldn't stop because the military would be restricted just as much as the Border Patrol from doing anything about it.
look in the mirror...
Excuse me?
Better take bail money with you, though.
I think we have done lots about it,just don't read or hear what is being done..Remember we have a liberal media that would love to have another Clinton in the White House..
Do you really think we are not going to be attacked again?
I don't know if we will be attack again or not..I hope not but like I said before it would not be president Bushes fault..
you will have to look out for yourself, dont get caught with your head in the sand, i think the situation is so bad its going to come down to this. if the gov. can't do anything about the problem how are they going to protect you...
The terrorists are not dumb and wait just long enough till we let our gaurd down with stupidity and then attack again.
If we cannot agree that giving drivers licenses to illegals is a bad thing, as well as deporting criminal aliens who commitr the crimes regular Americans are too lazy to commit, then we are only asking to be attacked again and again.
you will have to look out for yourself, dont get caught with your head in the sand, i think the situation is so bad its going to come down to this. if the gov. can't do anything about the problem how are they going to protect you...
That's exactly what "I" have been wondering for the past year.
The government won't close the borders.........(I believe it's too late anyway), and all the Mosque's across the U.S....who IS going to protect us? We are in a very severe situation. IMHO.
