Man arrested for Michael Schiavo threat
Baynews9.com ^ | 3-25-2005

A man has been arrested and charged with offering a $250,000 reward for killing Michael Schiavo.

Richard Alan Meywes was arrested in Fairview, North Carolina by the FBI and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office.

On March 23, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office forwarded an email to the FBI in Tampa which purportedly offered a $250,000 bounty on "the head of Michael Schiavo." The email placed an additional $50,000 bounty for the elimination of a judge who recently denied a request to intervene in the Schiavo case.

What needs to happen here is for all of Terri's old records to be subpoenaed.

Everything from her early time in rehabilitation.

On a young woman like this, they would have pulled out all the stops, trying to avoid another law suit just like the one Michael cashed in on.

The one thing you can always be sure of is Doctors cover their own a$$ first.

There will be Consultation reports from every initial assessment done by a Rehabilitation MD, and neurologist.

There will be assessments by physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists. There will also be a daily record of attempts to work with her.

If there is any documentation that Terri was improving at all then it is prima facia evidence that Terri was not in a PSVT.

A diagnosis of PSVT means you cannot learn period, because you are not in contact with your environment.

If this is present, then Michael, Greer, Felos should be arrested and charged with a criminal conspiracy to commit homicide.

No Physicians assessment after 7 years of neglect will have the weight of an assessment and diagnosis of one during the time she was actively getting rehabilation.

IMHO

They truly love America. Now, not all the American people are worthy of that love and protection, of course.

But they fight for an ideal, a nation based on democratic principals, to protect it from those who would gladly see our way of life destroyed.

I think what is disappointing is that so many who want to destroy our way of life come from within our own borders. Look at the Democratic Underground forum. But most Americans are good people.

I have corresponded to a number of the Freepers that want Terri to die.

Most of them are embroiled in an emotional hell of their own.

They have made the decision to with draw something life supporting on a family member, usually a spouse or a parent. Many of them were eaten up with cancer and they were trying to prevent further suffering.

They cannot see that withdrawing something from someone who is in a state of unremitting agony and who cannot get well is not the same as withdrawing food and water from someone with a healthy body is not the same.

They want Terri to die because it vindicates their own choice in a radically different situation.

The death of someone else can never assuage the grief, loss of someone close to you.

I don't think they are insane, I think they are in a fog of grief.

I just hope that the terrorism and energy shortages we are facing are not signs that God is winding up to throw this country a real hardball. The Soviet Union was wicked after all, and look at what happened to it.

God has given us a choice though--our free will will determine the direction of America. I don't believe God sanctioned the terrorist attacks--I believe he wept with us that day. But it was a wake-up call--the ideals of democracy have enemies; and they are the same enemies of our Judeo/Christian values. We had a strong leader, Ronald Reagan, who helped bring down the evil empire of the Soviet Union--now we have George Bush to bring America away from the threat of islamic takeover. Only time will tell if he is as successful. I pray for strength for him daily.

Sorry this is off topic--I'll stop now!

Tonk, I'm behind you on this.

I haven't followed every word that you have written but I have many.

Other than expressing the same outrage that I feel, and sorrow that this happening, I haven't seen a word out of line from you.

I hope you have dressed down the gutless wonder.

If God didn't throw us over over slavery he's not going to throw us over for this.

I heard someone speaking, that they had never seen the US so divided. I brought up the Civil War. We actually had Americans shooting one another, no that's divided.

What God is calling us to do, is to stand up and face down evil.

My question is: What if the guy was paid to try to make Michael look like the "victim" - which the dems are so good at.

It reminds me of the "good germans" who did nothing while their neighbors were dragged away and murdered.

We are in agreement.

We haven't crossed paths before, so upfront I'll tell you I'm a nurse and have been for over 20 years.

I agree with giving someone else that you trust implicitly your medical power of attorny, however I am opposed to having a living .

A living will is the surest way to ensure that you will get substandard medical care should you be hospitalized.

I second that emotion, Dogz. Can we possibly get a moritorium on the use of the word "Nazi", and comparisons of non-party members (I'm thinking of Greer here, but it happens a lot) to actual Nazi thugs? It's so lame, it's so predictable, it's somehow so - choke - liberal - all this name calling. Not to mention all this burn-in-hell-if-you-disagree-with-me Christianity. I don't know what church these people attend, but it ain't mine.

Hopefully the investigators will consider that possibility.

Well .. so far no one has seemed to be very interested in "investigating" much of anything in this case - and everytime GOOD civil servants tried - they were told to shut it down.

This is county-wide corruption and I'm hoping the people of FL will be so outraged they will clean house.

Regarding #101 and #105:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1370990/replies?c=105

These two posts by this person are implying that the man who was arrested for threatening M.S. is a member of this forum.

Please...
Regards

I was talking to a neighbor tonight. We were in agreement that all the key players in this case are now living in real danger. Americans are subject to extreme emotional upset; many of them carry guns. 'Nuff said. Please, please, please . . . Don't take the law into your own hands.

The "law" stopped protecting the innocent 30 years ago.

Law makers limit freedom as a daily job.

The time is coming when a new American revolution will push back restrictive rules and get the nation back to sanity.

Until then.....proceed at your own risk.

"I hope you have dressed down the gutless wonder."

I don't need to.

FReepers like this expose their true side.

For ALL to see, both other FReepers AND Lurkers.

More and more long time "Freepers" and new "FReepers"

are showing their true sides.

The difference between Real Republicans and the

phony republicans is simple to see.

Here's a sure fire test.

A Real Republican will, when given a chance,

either show up in person or show support

on a military related thread.

Phony republicans will very rarely even post on a military thread.

And there are plenty of military threads every day of the week.

Parents putting their children in such situations, using them as pawns, should be locked up.
