Man arrested for Michael Schiavo threat

A man has been arrested and charged with offering a $250,000 reward for killing Michael Schiavo.

Richard Alan Meywes was arrested in Fairview, North Carolina by the FBI and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office.

On March 23, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office forwarded an email to the FBI in Tampa which purportedly offered a $250,000 bounty on "the head of Michael Schiavo." The email placed an additional $50,000 bounty for the elimination of a judge who recently denied a request to intervene in the Schiavo case.

"This individual is obviously NOT pro-life either....."

I believe pro-life is about abortion. I for instance, and very pro-life. I'm even against the death penalty (has to do with me thinking the courts are corrupt, and nothing to do with killing).

However, if my kids or wife are being threatened, somebody's going to die... And it ain't going to be them.

Pro-life to me is about protecting the Innocent.

"This kind of crap is not good for our side"

I don't know... Michael Schiavo is fortunate Terry is not my daughter. No one would kill my kid with impunity. Screw the law. We all see how corrupt the law is...

And where would you suggest one seek justice? The courts?

If not there I can, without question, guarantee that it won't be found in vigilantism

I read that she wants to get married in the Catholic church and if Michael's DIVORCED, she won't be able to.

If there is any justice she still won't be able. If anyone hears of a Catholic wedding of these two in the future please ping me.

At first I worried for she and her kids. Now I worry for the kids.

Same here.

Actually there is one more place: the legislature. If Jeb defies the courts on the grounds of Florida statute, they can only try to get him impeached.

A father protecting his kids, by whatever means, is not vigilantism...Unless you happen to be one of those "girlie men".

"...Dang, this guy is a walkin', talkin' Doomsday machine. This crap has gotta stop for our sake and the Republic's..."

It isn't just the judge, Man, it's Michael that's driving this death.I asked myself to analyze this.

Fact: MS could have walked away, turned Terris' care over to her parents, got an annulment, and gone on with his new life, but he didn't!

Fact: MS, with judge Greer have actively pursued the death of Terri, but why?

Opinion: If Terri, given rehabilitation, might regain her voice, and recall the events that led up to her 'heart-attack', and THAT story could implicate MS in attempted murder.

Greer, as I have learned, seems to be a heartless cad with an inflated ego. MS, on the other hand, wants Terri dead! This screams at me that he has something to hide, something very damaging to him.

It's just a theory, but if I were the new girlfriend, I'd be packin' the kids and disappearing. Just a thought............FRegards

A reasonable thought however the time line doesn't help Terri, a law abiding citizen who is dependent upon the "government of the people" to side with her in her present situation.

Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies, and Pinellas
Park, Fla., police officers arrest 10-year-old Joshua
Heldreth, of Charlotte, N.C., for trespassing on
Woodside Hospice property in Pinellas park, Fla. Heldreth was attempting to bring Terri Schiavo a
glass of water. Schiavo's feeding tube was removed
by court order Friday, March 18, 2005.

"Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?..." And the King will answer and say to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." Jesus, from St. Matthew 25:37-40

It's hard to evaluate this without access to the email and the context.

I'd be inclined to doubt this until I see the actual facts; it's possible it was someone just fooling around.

That's not an indictment of the law folks -- they probably should be hyper-vigilant.

But the media reports seem to indicate this was a "whom it may concern" type email. And that doesn't sound like a very effective method of conspiring to me.

He can defy them right now.

He isn't the instigator of this horrific situation and to place him situationally as the sole Saviour only promotes political cause, does nothing to help Terri, and creates a polarization that can only divide us and make a terrible situation worse.

Some want this...
