Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
"I can't sing that song"
I can't even READ those lines without tears in my eyes and a chill up my spine.
God bless Terri. God forgive our country.
GOOD NIGHT!
'night Gramma. Bless you.
Oh yeah! I know there are so many beautiful places on this eart. You know when you see a waterfall, or you go on vacation to a place that is exotic and there's so much beauty all around you? I can just imagine that it is NOTHING compared to what He has in store for us. The love will be overflowing and I really can't wait!!!!!
I DO know that I won't beable to sing. I will probably fall to my knees, (or pass out)LOL!
Walk with her, Beloved King, as she Draws Closer to her Heavenly Home. She will Cry no more Tears, and she will be Filled with the Joy of Your Spirit Forever. In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we Beg for Your Love to Surround her at This Hour, amen.
Some people would say I'm in the 1860's for that song I just sang ;)
We're in the same position now that the lefties were in during the 60's. The were on the outside. Now they're on the inside, and we're out. And we now have to do all the organizing and agitating. Nobody changed, they just changed places. Sometimes history repeats in several ways at once.
Good night everyone. You're all in our prayers. I hope you all have a Blessed Easter. We'll continue to pray and fight for Terri no matter what happens. Thank you all for being here.
Praying for you to be safe from the weather too, Wampus. We'll be under the gun too here in GA. See you all later.
I could see passing out.. I think if He appeared at my side right now I'd fall outta my chair..
definitely couldn't sing.. be crying too much with joy..
Good nite, God bless you and thank you for being in this!
I have a question. Have you seen the Passion?
Goodnight kenth!! God Bless you!!
Boy have I.. I had to bury my face in my husband's coat and sob my eyes out for a lot of it.. went to bed for the rest of the day with a headache.. something about seeing a portrayal of your absolute Best Friend Beloved beat up, torn up, and murdered that tends to send me over the top.
and even though they didn't show it.. THANK GOD IT HAD A HAPPY ENDING!
I think you and my husband would get along famously.. He collects Confederate music..
Goodnight Gramma! Sleep well.
See ya later kenth ... faith and strength.
Cool. Someone in my family not only collects it, but plays it at reenactments.
(I gotta go dig up Black Oak Arkansas's cover of "Dixie". LOL)
The reason I'm asking is because my husband wants to watch it tomorrow, so he borrowed it. My 11 year old daughter wants to see it and I tried to explain to him how it affected me.
My son and I went to see it when it was at the movies. We live right down the street from the theatre and it was a REALLY hot day out, so my son and I walked. I carried a leather jacket because it's cold in the theatre. I cried so much and was horrified to the point that I got sick. When we left I was shaking, my head was pounding, my eyes were nearly swelled shut from crying, my chest hurt and my heart was pounding so hard I could hear it inside my head, I was wearing a leather coat and still freezing and it was 80 outside. My son put his arm around me and asked me if I needed him to carry me or if I wanted him to call dad to come get us. He said I was as white as a sheet.
Do you know if anyone else has ever let a child watch it?
