Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

After standing there gawking at Terri, Michael's guest list came outside WITH BIG SMILES ON THEIR FACES, WERE GLEEFUL AND THE GRUESOMENESS DIDN'T SEEM TO PHASE THEM. They weren't horrified - they were mocking Terri and laughing about it. They were bragging that "they got in".
I am not sure. I would imagine that they are numb right now and just trying to figure out the best plan from here on out. I would only hope that they can stop the cremation, but even doubt that now.
I'm not defending Greer at all. I've been fighting for Terri a long time. I'm saying there's blood on a lot of hands. And God knows who did it!
The legislature passed laws that Greer was allowed to exploit.
The state has not exercised its oversight to make sure Greer was on the up and up...and if the Empire Journal's allegations are true, there was a lot of exploitation. Whoever was in charge of making sure this was done is guilty.
There is a lot of darkness here.
May God shine his light in all the dark and dusty corners.
There are other countries that are much much much worse.
What is that country where it is PRESUMED you want to die and you are killed by doctors? (denmark?)
In other countries no debate is allowed, no debate is going to foollow, no price to be paid.
IN the USA, there will be those who still remember Terri who will take actions in the US Government in order to never again let this travesty of law happen.

Some media advice for Jeb Bush. The Public needs to SEE Terri. We need to see what death by starvation looks like. Remember the photos of concentration camp victims? Never again, right? But pictures are worth a thousand words.
Remove Terri from the hospice and have her hospital doctors in their press conference confirm what we already know, that she is in terrible agony.
We need to see Terri in order to fight this Culture of Death.

I'm just can't cry any more. I'm so angry. I'm sick of this injustice. I shouldn't be this way -- but I've always believed in righteous anger too.
All I know is that Terri is starving, so many people are apathetic, it feels as though the Heavens are made of brass, and if I had any one of those ghouls trying to kill Terri in front of me right now -- well, I'd have to pray A LOT.
They want to hide so many images from us. Its just like it was shortly after 9-11. "They" made the decision to hide all those horrifying pictures of the planes hitting the buildings and of those poor brave souls who jumped from the towers to escape the flames. Don't look at it, its too "disturbing". And all too many Americans obeyed, and stopped looking.....and all too many of us HAVE forgotten what the horror of that day felt like.
So, now, with Terri they want us NOT to look into her beautiful face and see her as a human being? They don't want us to SEE a real person was there? Ferraro, and those like her, sure have Americans pegged, don't they? They know if people are deprived of the chance to look into her eyes and gaze at the image of her, that they will soon forget.....And they will be free to move onto the next step......and the next victim.

Not Dead Yet is a good site...I recommend it highly...the handicapped know that things like this put them at greater and greater risk of entering that non-person group with those with PVS type injuries...

Good question! These Judges are taking control of this country! I am sick of it! We all need to get real angry about this and not forget it once it over! As a matter of fact we need to remind our gov't we will not take this! I can only hope and pray that once this is over and Terri dies there will be criminal investigations ongoing for years to come over this! I hope there will be arrest of justices, impeachements of justices, arrests of HINO, and Felos! I want to see it all and i will be calling the DOJ every day to demand charges of all these people once this is over! This is a cruel cruel world we live in! God will not let the people causing harm to Terri to go unjust!

Greer's been stonewalling the guardianship auditors for years. If you rob and starve people before their natural death, there's nothing left and they don't have to set up an Estate File. That's what has been going on in Pinellas County.
The ward's money is laundered to a trust, when the ward dies, there isn't even any money left for their beneficiaries. ROB THEM AND EXIT THEM OUT.
Our country is weeping......those that are rightous. The other half is callous, laughing , and non repentant.

Not gonna happen. The only ones allowed to see Terri are Michael, his shack-up honey, miscellaneous friends of Michael, his patricidal brothers, Felos, and armed policemen. Her parents and siblings are allowed in only briefly after passing three checkpoints and a strip-search, and they are kept away from their precious dying loved one for a dozen hours at a time. But all this must be done to protect her privacy, doncha know. No, no cameras. That would be barbaric.
