Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

What I meant to say is that Rick Santorum seem resigned to the judicial supremacy. "There's nothing more we can do; so why dwell on it. Move on." No, he didn't say that, but that was the message I got.

Hello,
I have felt the same today. I tried to determine if I was simply giving up, knowing that there was no hope, or if it was because God's Will would be done. I still don't know.
Bless all of you, I will continue to try to calm my older family members who are terrified at this point that they will be deemed unworthy of life.
Glad to be here, not sure at this point where here is, MOgirl

I think God blessed a great man of us with His peace the other night and it continues still.

I meant to add...any action up to now and the world would have given the glory to man. We are down to the last man standing between her and death. For Greer to rule for her family would truly be a miracle. God answers all prayers...sometimes the answer is NO.
While praying, God gave me a little clarity. He told me that if it was his will to carry Terri home, he would have already done so. Deep down, (I shudder to think this) Greer might feel like he is doing the right thing. If that is so, I pray for his eyes to be opened to the truth. Jesus speaks the truth to all of us even when we are not seeking him out. So I will pray for Greer that he will listen to the Holy Spirit moving within him. I pray for his protection and the love of God to rain down upon him, as I do Terri and her family.

Lord, you know that I am not sure how to pray for this judge. You know his heart. I ask that you shine your light and he says "Yes Lord" not only for Terri but for his sake also.
To: Theodore R.
He's angry but also sort of frustrated I think. Through the week he sounds more and more tired when he is on radio. (And he's not even my senator) :))

Here's the gist of the article:
>>As if the circumstances surrounding Terri Schiavo could not get any more suspicious, the Center for Reclaiming America has uncovered evidence that Pinellas-Pasco County Circuit Judge George W. Greer accepted a campaign contribution from the law firm of Michael Schiavos attorney only one day after "Terris Law was declared unconstitutional by a Pinellas county court.
This appears to establish a clear conflict of interest between Judge Greer and the best interests of Terri Schiavo.<<

"HEY WAMPUS, PUMP THIS PARTY!!!"
I'm gonna pump the third party!

"Whatever it takes!"
Remember WHO said that? Why doesn't he put his words into action for Terri?
To: Awestruck
Dear Lord we come to you now, asking you to touch the heart of Judge Greer.. he does not seem to know You Lord.. and he needs You so badly right now! His heart is barren and aching with wickedness! Please cast out the wickedness and replace it with the peace that comes from knowing You. This reminds me of the Pharisee prayer Jesus gave as an example of those who consider themselves so much more righteous than others.

He told me that if it was his will to carry Terri home, he would have already done so.Yes!
When Gibbs asked Greer to clarify if he would rule AT noon tomorrow, Greer corrected Gibbs and said something like "Well, no later than noon...it could be before"
That gave me hope.
Terri's words "Where there's life, there's hope"
