Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Good. Think Hannity site is subscription. I just have the radio on today.
The liberals and media are against Terri living, not because they think she wants to die, but because they must maintain the absolute supremacy of the courts. They must continue the lie that judges make the law.
It appears from the Terri case that now a judge gets to enforce his own "laws."
In the end, the judge can only get away with that if the other branches allow him to. All the more reason for Jeb to step in, as you said.
Ah. That could be it too.
Godspeed, Awestruck! See you soon.
Please keep me on your ping list then, because I will never rest until it's blown wide open and exposed for what it really is. I want to help in any way I can and be a part of the collective voice of the body of Christ.
No problem!
"Guardian ad litem" could file for a divorce on Terri's behalf, but Judge Greer said she didn't need this guardian.
If she had this guardian, get an IMMEDIATE divorce!
Could the POPE just grant her an immediate divorce in this case?!?!?!
Well all that is covered in Florida Statutes ch 765, a proxy or guardian has the authority but there must also be other conditions.
Greer didn't require and exam of Terri before they stopped feeding her. That's another violation, one of many.
Thanks. I was so honored that I just happened to follow Patton.
I hope he'd be proud. :o)
You have FRmail
I got on fine ... I guess it's not subscription ...
Goodness no, no U.S. state recognizes the Pope's authority. Remember how the popular JFK went out of his way to say that he would not listen to the Pope.
This all stinks to high heaven. I think there is a BRIBE involved here somewhere. Somebody in the JUDICIAL SYSTEM is getting a Bribe to insist that the girl be killed.

Maybe we as American women should all Cover our heads like the Afgani's under the Taliban and dominating abusive husbands, treated with less rights than dogs or camels. The fact that American Courts will not here extemperanious evidence or anything but a rubber stamp to other motions... Is a violation of Womens rights to life and liberty.
Shame on the Bushes for not forcefully intervening for American women's rights at risk of mistake. They sure were forcefull to save Iraqi-Afgan women at risk of mistake.
You're very welcome, glad I could help.
Is there a way to get in touch with other freepers in my area that are going?
If a little baby crawled out into a busy highway and sat in
the middle of the road, I'm quite sure that Governor Bush
would risk a jaywalking ticket to rush into the street and
save the child even if the Don't Walk sign was flashing !!!
Terri is an innocent and helpless child right now. Therefore, she
desparately needs someone to bravely risk arrest for jaywalking
to save her life from that evil mob of monsters who are blatantly
attempting to murder her ... in plain view of the entire world !!!
Jaywalk NOW Jeb !!!
First time online in a day or so.
Earlier today I was watching an NBC reporter do a stand up. He reported the Schindler family's account of Terri's condition, and then reported Michael Schiavo's account.
When the camera went off and he walked towards the back of the tent, he had a strange look on his face. He looked at a couple of his associates and said, "Somebody's lying..."
I suppose the answer to your question is that anything designated by law as a "life-prolonging procedure" would be denied to anyone who specified in writing that they didn't want their life to be prolonged. For example, I was talking to my mother-in-law (a nice elderly lady) yesterday about the Terri Schiavo case, and she says she wouldn't want to be kept alive by means of dialysis. I don't understand that, but apparently she heard about a bad experience with someone who was on dialysis. The lady kept telling them she didn't want dialysis, and they kept doing it to her. Finally her daughter heard her say it, and made the hospital staff stop the dialysis. The lady died two days later.
I think I see your point. You disagree with the Florida law. So by your example, since air conditioning should not be considered as a "life-prolonging procedure," neither should the feeding tube. Is that what you're saying?
