You've got to be kidding. Williams was more than pathetic tonight.
may - 1. To be allowed or permitted to: May I take a swim? Yes, you may. 2. Used to indicate a certain measure of likelihood or possibility: It may rain this afternoon.
could - Past tense of can. 1. Used to indicate ability or permission in the past
Think about it.

Carlos grew up here in the Bay Area during the sixties and he's obviously never grown out of them. A lot of those 60's peace clowns like him act like they're so spiritual, but deep down they're the biggest hatemongers.
Not kidding... I thought he was hilarious.

Dirty Harry?
And was Virginia Mayo really in The Best Years of our Lives?
LOL, and with Dustin Hoffman standing right next to her, I had an ugly "Mrs. Robinson" flashback!
Even better. Chris Rock made some jokes about Jude Law being in every movie ever made, and 2 HOURS LATER, Sean Penn goes on stage angry as hell about the Jude Law jokes. Penn looked like a drunk, unemployed guy chasing kids off his lawn.

I can't believe you guys are watching this junk?
Hollywood, their message and their "Art" is crap. >>>>>
Who are you ? The Preacher from Footloose ?
Lighten up already.
So, Clint, you gonna put her down when she gets a little older?
Aviator? Well, we know Hughes sold his design to the Japanese and it came back to the U.S. as the Zero.
MDB appears to support a libertarian or objectivist view. A priest tries to talk her out of it, so I've heard.
We've come a long way in the movies. I can remember seeing Tom Tryon in "The Cardinal." My memory is a bit faded, but his sister, played by Carol Lynley was pregnant out of wedlock and experiencing a life-threatening labor. Because he was the next of kin, he had to make the decision for the doctors to save his sister or her baby. As a priest, he had no choice but to have them save the life of the baby. I was quite young when I saw the film and I remember questioning my mother about his decision. She explained to me that because he was a priest, he could not authorize the taking of a life...that life being the baby's. It is something that has stayed with me for quite a long time and your mentioning the priest and euthanasia in "Million Dollar Baby" brought it all back to me.
Winslet got robbed too, with Titanic, and probably this other one as well. I saw the clips of DiCaprio and thought he looked pretty darn impressive, a good strong second at least to Foxx. As as actor, he is very good. His day will come.
"And was Virginia Mayo really in The Best Years of our Lives?"
Oh yes, I think so, but I could be wrong.
giggle!
It figures Penn would lose his sobriety on Oscar night and make an ass of himself. I'm glad I missed the whole show !
You've been snookered by the sympathetic portrayal of the lead character.
It didn't take much did it?
