The following is a link to an artical which i wrote for my highschool paper, Veritas, which was then published.

It is about how god is a fundemental part of our history, culture, etc.

Thanks to LiteKeeper,Cindy and the seed planted in Veritas.
The points were valid- and I find nothing more fitting than
to plant such in a paper called TRUTH.

Excellent!

I have a question for you. What do you think would happen if the universal decision was made to allow mention of God in the classroom, but as a result, all other worshipped entities were given equal time? In other words, even though the laws of our country are based on Christianity, we also have freedom OF religion. If a student recites the Pledge and substitutes aloud the words "under Satan" or "under Islam," or "under Soros" or whatever floats his or her boat, is this ok?

I'm on your side. Just playing Devil's Advocate.

I will have to think on that but i imagine that they could say that if they so choose. Freedom of speech is not for those who agree but for those who disagree.

Excellent Article.

Here's another seed you might want to consider.

good lecture with good points and a lesson, among many, which i would interperate as what will happan if we do away with religion and the idea of god to be politically correct.
