Just now on his radio show...says we taken over by fringe people
Only if it's preceeded by Sean's last book was fabulous, worth buying bttt
I think I remember him saying some were bashing him some time ago and whoever he has monitoring us for him let him know. Plus, even further back than that fact, Lucianne, Drudge and the rest of them that used to be here back during x42 days got p'oed and left, though I came aboard about the time they left, so I don't have all the details. In fact, that's how I found FR. Drudge used to have a link on his site.
Sean may have always been a lurker, but did and still stays in contact with them obviously. That's all I know about it and I know it's not much.
SBJ is a FReeper or lurker......
Bump.
I had an interesting conversation with the ad director of my local radio station recently. My company wanted to run some ads on the Limbaugh program, but the guy kept pushing Hannity on me.
What was his big selling point? "Hannity has more women."
Bottom line: I think Hannity specifically targets a certain demographic---the same demographic targeted by Days of Our Lives and General Hospital.
His program is trash.
LOL.
The top picture somewhat resembles Md's Gov., Bob Ehrlich. Maybe we're onto something.
I think it's the hair.
Hmmm, I'm just wondering if there might be something else at play, here.
For example, I can't figure out why the WSJ ed page seems (IMO) to belittle the blogosphere lately.
Now this from our good friend Sean?
Is is possible that the conservative broadcast and print media are feeling threatened by US? I certainly hope not. We are their grass roots strength, not competitors.
Sean, my friend. Nobody likes to be insulted as "fringe people". Please understand a few tart responses. Perhaps the good folks here will rethink their some of their reactions to your comment (assuming we have it in proper context.)
And, perhaps you will reevaluate just who your friends and allies are. (Hint, you are among them if you are reading this.)
Take Two - Second chances all around!
.
We gots us a LEEEEE-BRAL 'ere! Tryin' to push ye olde "global warming" myth on us again.
Listen, bozo, we're here because we don't feel like spending all our time debunking yet another figment of the fevered left-wing imagination. If we wanted to deal with people so brainwashed as to take "global warming" seriously, there are plenty of places to do that. Here, we know that the same folks who say "global warming" now were panicking over "global cooling" 20 years ago.
Wow - what a disappointment. Man is FOX going down the crapper or what? About the only thing worth watching is Kiran Chetry.
What a Judas. I wonder if Miss Ingraham would care to comment on this? We made Hannity. We made FOX. Without Free Republic, he'd be busy writing op-Eds to The Post...
Hannity was so busy today patting his buddy, communist Charlie Rangel, on the back that he was unaware he was slamming America's Website!
LOL!
The worst thing are his interviews (Shoot Outs) with liberals. He plugs them repeatedly until the guest arrives. He has one or, at most, two points to make and he repeats these constantly and exclusively. Usually these points are ad-hominem attacks that do nothing to advance the conservative view point. The guest usually gives up in frustration and Hannity spends the remainder of the show letting us know that he won the debate.
For example, he interviews one of the Kennedy's and immediately asks about his opposition to a wind mill farm off Martha's Vineyard. Hannity bellows "you say you're in favor of alternative energy but you oppose this windmill farm that will ruin your view". The guest tries to explain that things are not that simple and suggests they move on. Unfortunately, this is all that Sean has prepared so he spends the next five minutes asking the same question over and over.
It's all stupid. I live on the water and pay a lot more in taxes than someone who does not. I support alternative energy but I don't want windmills blocking my view. I also support Nuclear Power Plants, gas stations, slaughter houses, bowling alleys and supermarkets. I don't want one next door - does this make me a hippocrate?
The whole show is boring, repetative and uninformative.
That includes Morton's and Blackie's too.
Sean is trying to generate some phone calls I think!
50% plugging his books and TV show.
40% saying how modest he is.
10% content.
Now that's unfair to Costello.
Esther, you must be a grandma. All the grannies love Sean, including my wife.
Good thing we have two TV's in the house, or there would be a battle royale every night at 9 pm Eastern. ;)
LOL!
I agree, but I am getting tired of Conservative talk radio. The only show that is fun to listen to is Laura Ingraham.
Hanity is a putz and is rat co-host. I would rather listen and read what people have to say here than any of those news people.
If I tune its to watch Michelle Malkin, Ollie North and Ann C and thats about it. :o)
