It was about six months or so ago. I don't remember what the jist of it was, but it was about 500 to 600 posts long. Since I have never appreciated Sean very much, I was collecting handles of FReepers who basically agreed with my somewhat negative opinion of him. Suffice it to say that I easily collected over 60 posters who were disenchanted with Sean.

So that evening you must have had a few people with whom to disagree. ;-)

Let's just hope Sean does a little growing up in the next years. Yesterday he was catty and foolish. He's never been too smart, but yesterday he was "small". Not good.

Thanks. Mostly I'm just amazed at the stupidity of what Sean did yesterday. I cannot imagine what he was thinking. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Not a good business move.

Hannity is totally self-absorbed. When his big and hypocritical crash and burn comes nobody has a right to be surprised.

"Dumb, dumb, dumb" -- LOL.

Do you think he will have the class to say anything about it today? If he were a real man, he would try to get someone ( a good writer) to write him a decent "apology".

You know that for years he must have gotten much of his material and immediate updates from FR. This place is GOLD to people who want the truth before others.!

When he said that some FReepers have gotten so that they, "even eat their own"

Not "eating your own" means marching in lockstep with the leadership of a party. It means being partisan even in the face of irresponsible policies and dangerous directions.

"Eating your own" is frequently a good thing. It's human. It's intelligent and indicative of an independent and freethinking mind, which attributes led to the formation of this nation. It's the antithesis of a herd mentality, which mentality inevitably leads to tyranny.

Mr. Hannity has a herd mentality. He simply wants to be a herd leader. He increasingly is oriented toward making money. He started as a Christian and progressed steadily toward Mammon, which god he seems to be worshiping now.

Laura is so smart and funny. The more you listen to the Rush wannabes, the more you appreciate what Rush has done and continues to do.

"I am an engineer so I do know about science, I am fluent in the logistics of data collection, and what I'm seeing does indeed point to the consensus conclusion. If you're not willing to take the conclusion of a metereologist"

Let me give you a little dose of common sense. Something that people tend to lose when they bloat. If Hannity had any real sense of business he would have just promoted his website in a manner appealing to those he would like to see promote him further. IF he would have just layed out his ideas on what he was trying to build and left is at that, he would have been much better off today.

p.s. I am not saying that people cannot express their displeasure at his comments. I'm just saying, "why are so many turning on Sean (attacking) because he made a valid observation about some FReepers?"

Then the reverse is true:

Why are people stepping in and saying we are wrong to say things bout Sean, when all we are doing is making accurate observations about Sean Hannity?

And if we are supposed to support Sean "because he is on our side", then why isn't Sean supposed to support us because "we are on HIS side?"

Many of us here have openly spoken of the errors, lack of strong intellectual ability of Hannity, the lack of coherant response to easily defeated arguments of the left. Well, those are valid observations and there have been numerous examples of it here which would never have been said if Hannity didn't just stab us in the back.

This is a two faced argument, to say we need to roll over when he drops us while we are supposed to support him, while he just openly says he disdains us.

Sean's comments can be repeated over 3 hours a day, he gets to tell his story as many times as he wants, he gets to control the discussion and who listens to the dissent regarding his comments, while we are stuck here making our comments only to each other.

That means Hannity gets to control the argument, and NONE of us get to respond as openly and publically as he does. Our comments here have to be privately searched for, those among us who have been ariculate and complete in our statements are basically anonymous in our response, while Sean has MILLIONS of people who hear his slant on things and believe him BECAUSE HE IS ON THE RADIO and therefore has "credibility"

Hannity lost almost 1000 listeners for these comments, the problem is, just who do we listen to? If Sean moved to a different time slot, and even with the same number of stations carrying him, he would lose share faster than Clinton would stare at AnnaZ.

I happen to like M. Savage! He makes me laugh, and occasionally has some good topics.

That, and I like listening to raving angry men on the radio while I drive. Keeps me awake.

But those who speak of global warming almost uniformly declare human activity to be the major cause, and the evidence to support that simply doesn't exist.

As I have said before, most of the scientists believe the problem is a combination of both - human activity speeding up a natural process. When you paint all those who believe human activity to be a contributing factor with the anti-capitalist brush, you're admitting to another political idealogy.

So it comes down to a handful of ideologically-bent "scientists" who promote global warming to secure research funding.

If it were all about funding, there must be elements who are idealogically bent to disprove global warming, say factories or corporations who would be forced to reduce their emissions. Scientists who want to secure research funding for something, anything, would have no problem working for them. So where are these scientists?

When Sean mentioned me, did he mention his book "Deliver Us From Evil"?

Hannity is a hack, he repeats the same mantra over and over every day. You could take any 10 minutes of his show, loop it for 3 hours, and you'd get the same product. It gets tiring at times. He couldnt hold a candle to Rush Limbaugh.

This can't be true. That article is less than a year ago. Sean says he's been gone for 2 years. /sarcasm dripping

You've nailed it. There is an effort afoot to minimize the power of our forum, others and blogs. Sean had a MSM moment and he just hastened his drop in ratings--and in what's left of his reputation.

Also, I believe it is incorrect to say that the majority of scientists accept it, I believe that the majority of them do not.

I didn't say the majority of scientists accept it, the meteorologist did. Since it is his field of specialty, he would know far better than you or me.
