Just now on his radio show...says we taken over by fringe people
hahahahahah!
That's why after this got started the mod saw fit to post the audio link at the start of the thread---so each person could hear from him/herself and evaluate it "live," so to speak.
I encourage everyone to go to the top of this thread and listen to the audio for themselves.
LOL. Remember this:
"It was amazing Thursday to watch the documents story go from FreeRepublic.com, a bastion of right-wing lunacy, to Drudge to the mainstream media in less than 12 hours," said Jim Jordan, a strategist for independent Democratic groups opposed to Bush.
Thanks for the transcript. We haven't even touched on this part of his (whatever) today.
He does sound desperate, doesn't he? And stupid. Like if Al Franken started a message board it would be front page MSM news, but Sean's message board is not heralded in the MSM because he's a . . . Republican?
I mean, Britney Spears allegedly posts messages to her fans on her web site and has a message board, so I guess she's part of the new media, too?
It's a blog? Sean. Please. I'm also wondering if he is feeling the heat of the blogosphere horning in on his own self-described monopoly on the "real" news.
Even Rush last week was pretty darn cool toward the bloggers who, rightly, outed Eason Jordan.
Talk Radio also has to know that more and more people may just start turning to the blogosphere for news and analysis.
I thought the whole thing was just wierd.
That middle pic is just EERIE!
The word Creepy now means cool, hip ect....
37 40 43 Numbers on the backs of Football Jerseys? Inquiring minds want to know.
Yup - I was never subtle or gentle
Someone had to be honest and open and touch that third rail
I merely repeated his own on-air comments/confessions
Then I pointed out the hidden costs to taxpayers, honest workers, and honest businesses, public schools, hospitals and Sean Hannity's wilful criminality
I did the same calling Bob Grant on this issue before Sean Hannity ever started at WABC 770am NYC
Several FReepers are employers engaged in the same crooked practices
Target the politicians and bureaucrats that actually promote hiring and protecting illegal aliens too
NYC: Dinkens, Guilliani, Bloomberg
I am all for a federal bounty system; one actually was in place in the 1970s
AZ has the starting concept yet NM under Richardson is a problem
I fully expect serious problems fairly soon - Americans are fed up with going without at IRS and state revenue gunpoint to support increasing court ordered supsidizing of criminal "invaders" as Michelle Malkin and Monica Crowley describe them
It is well known and documented here on FR that illegal aliens are a huge proportion of violent crime here in the USA
Great post. If you're not a writer already, you should be.
Right. The softie probably checks out FR before his coffee in the morning.
;-)
Despite all this, I like him. There have been flame wars on FR that have gotten out of hand, many used to call me a Bushbot. So, I guess he got fed up one day and never came back. The guy I really dislike is Al Franken. Boy is that an easy call.
Ok playing devil's advocate here for a second.
Maybe Sean made his "fringe comment" based on some of the trolls and disruptor types that tended to invade some of the political threads over the last coule years i the run up to the election.
I mean think about it...how may times was a thread started and within the first 20 posts...no matter what the topic was...someone would start the Michael Savage-ish "language, borders, culture" rant. Sometimes that's called for, but NOT in a discussion about budget proposals or the President's visit to Walter Reed to see wounded troops. Or you'd get a Liberaltarian jump in and, in a very pavlovian way, start talking about how the military was violating the Constitution by operating outside the parameters of defending the country's borders on a thread concerning the SOTU address.
And we've ALL weathered the frontal assault from the leigon of DU Trolls.
Looking at this forum in that contest...being an occasional lurker and not understanding the mechanics of this forum by being here on a daily basis...one could easily conclude that this site has been...on occasion been overrun by the "lunatic fringe" of conservatism.
Like I said I'm not defending Sean...if he said the things he did based on on a wrongheaded premise that everyday FReepers like myself and others on here are the "fringe"...then he deserves everything he gets from us.
I didn't hear the original quote over here in Korea. And as I said I was just playing devils advocate.
What would a board be without the "fringe(s)". It would be like a cake without the icing. You need some fringe, or things get a little boring, imo.
Post # 1112 has the audio. The above is listed there. Listen to it.
It is clear that Sean was being a jerk. No surprise. He's always been less than bright.
Agree.
Thanks Beyond. I'll go give it a listen when I get off the air.
And from what you've said it would appear that I'm about to be very disappointed in Mr. Hannity.
LOL. Then why don't you tape the shows, and then post your intellectual input. Leave out the laughing and groaning, please.
;-)
Personally, I find the 'Sunday Morning Thread' great just as it is these past months. I enjoy both the directly informative posts AND the subjective feelings of posters (including laughter and groans).
After reading the whole thread, it's hard not to know what happened on all the shows.
Be well.
LOL.
The Sunday Morning thread was a lifesaver to me when I was in Iraq and couldn't get my dose of Sunday talk shows. I didn't miss anything that happened thanks to that thread.
