I dunno, he has good relations with Mark Levin, who is an actual (though probably intermittent)FReeper, and Hannity has mentioned FR numerous times, not negatively. HOWEVER, he may have come across references to himself (like several of mine) that were less than complimentary. He has been described, aptly, as a meathead. I for one, have come to NEVER expect an original thought from Hannity; however he is VERY good at holding on to a relentless litany of talking points on his pet subjects, and hammering them home endlessly. I was on the verge of turning him off today when he was making such a big deal of the earth-shaking comments of Charlie Rangel referring to Clinton as a redneck, and Howard Dean making a stupidly possibly racist joke, to a captive audience who happened to be mainly minorities. He needed to pound home once again his thesis that there is a double=standard, see, and that if Republicans made these comments , see, the major media would be all over them.....see...because there's a DOUBLE-STANDARD, see.....

Please take off the blinders. Rush was NOT trashing FR with "tongue in cheek" at all. Either you don't remember it all,or you prefer to imagine something that isn't true at all.

Rush posted several different uncomplimentary pictures of FREEPERS,over the years and outright trashed,bashed,and slammed FR and FREEPERS many different times over the years.

Rush bashes tongue in cheek...like when he posted a composite of what a Freeper looks like. To overreact to Rush is akin to believing Walter Williams really gives his wife a new iron on her birthday.

There's not a dimes worth of difference between what Rush has said about "kooks" here at FR and what Hannity said.

It's best not to overreact to both.
