Just now on his radio show...says we taken over by fringe people
Radio is the lowest form of entertainment.
WHich is exactly why Conservative people in high profile positions need to put their country, then party, ahead of their big egos and personal bank accounts.
Time to stop "forming a circle and shooting each other". The Dems have had uniformity of voice down since the Civil War, we need to get it right, excuse the pun.
...The Sean's not smart enough to know on his own...
I think a FReeper poll is in order....
Well since he only committed this stunt today...I doubt contacting Mr. Robinson within moments was a reasonable expectation. Nor do I believe Jim has anything to rush to defend. I'm not overly worried about Sean's comments about FR, the site stands on its own and did long before his show.
I dislike what Sean did.
I do find it hypocritical that some that have made it an obsession to target Sean, cannot take the same abuse when leveled back at them. But, not everyone targeted Sean. In his fire he hit a number of innocent bystanders and I understand their anger.
It deserved a few hits. I don't think it merited 1700 and counting hits. If we want to be in the big leagues, you have to be able to take a few cuts. Shake it off, state why Sean was wrong, and move on. Anything more gives his allegations weight they shouldn't have.
I have seen it myself in business and read it in books - when someone makes a point of telling you how much you can trust them - run!
I've listened to CONSERVATIVE talk radio since the late '60s.Back then,Bob Grant was THE best. The Johnny come latelies, which include Rush, were NEVER as good as Grant was in his prime. Mark is actually BETTER than Grant ever was;more knowledgeable, just as vibrant, and very funny.
Did you see Mark today, when he was on with John Gibson? He was great.
Hannity wouldn't know country music if he tripped over George Jones laying passed out drunk in a hotel lobby.
...The Sean showed himself clearly today.
Have you read the book yet?
If he does say anything, it will probably be on his radio show tomorrow. I doubt that he'll mention it on H and C.
FReeper Poll, yes.
Why does O'Reilly still have his gig. Who listens to him?
There are also freeper meteorologists who don't believe in "global warming." And some very prominent mainstream scientists, including Dr William Gray and Dr Kary Mullis. Also, I believe it is incorrect to say that the majority of scientists accept it, I believe that the majority of them do not. More likely, it is a majority of politicians, not scientists, who are pushing global warming.
Earth's temperature is up .7 degrees over the last 100 years, which is to say that the difference is so slight that it's probably less than errors in measurement. However, in the last 30 years, there has been a cooling trend. The earth has generally been warmer the last couple thousand years than it is now.
Theories of global warming are based on computer models that speculate on what could happen in the future (it has not happened yet) if increased carbon is placed into the atmosphere. However, there is at least one study showing that the United States, at least, is removing more carbon from the atmosphere than it puts in, this due to extensive reforesting - tree farms planted in pursuit of profits from paper manufacturing.
Here's a clue for you: we've been doing the same thing for over six years.
And how would you know who got what, since you got here AFTER the fact.
That go for RadioAstronomers as well? LOL!!
Just ordered mine; should be hear next day/two...can't wait, especially after hearing one hour of Rush and F Lee Levin today.
Worth taking the time today. Will definitely devour the book.

"According to the Kerry for President campaign, News Corp. President and chief operating officer Peter Chernin has endorsed the Democratic presidential candidate. News Corp. owns Fox News Channel."
"That would put Chernin in the ranks of some other Kerry-supporting media executives, including Barry Diller, Kirk Kerkorian (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.) and Harvey and Robert Weinstein, who backed the release of Michael Moore's controversial anti-Bush documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11.
____________
"News Corp. owns Fox News Channel." . . and Bill O'Reilly, and Hannity and Colmes. Is it any wonder direct posting from FoxNews is on the "No-No" list?
____________
That 'splains this . .
Then why did you make it 1765? People can leave all the comments they want, if anything the mistake is giving him the attention. I think people here have had Sean's number long enough that we realize what he did was not an aw shucks honest ad lib - it was a calculated bash and the reason obviously was to win over business at his site. Considering this site is free and operates on donations, I think that was pretty lousy.
