What would be more just deserts for Whhhaaaaaaaaaa-nnity would be to lurk and NOT join his blog. Invite every DUmmie and lie-beral you know to join it, then watch the mayhem. PJ-Comix could call it the "Hannity Hilarity"...or the "Ego-testicles"... hey, that's pretty good.... why do I give away my best ideas.... am I typing this...

If it wasn't for FR,Rush wouldn't have a thing to talk about, except toe fungus, his golf game, and his various personal woes.

That's not entirely true. He would just have to work harder to dig stuff up. FR is a major shortcut for these guys.

I'll always remember the day Rush let the "BARF ALERT" phrase slip out!

Look at it this way: 24hr news like Fox has pretty much zapped the leftist print media; now blogs and 'Freep' forums have evolved to be the cutting edge of culture change.

Hannity and his ilk must find some way to label the forums and blogs as fringe in order to justify themselves as being 'wired' instead of 'tired'.

Hannity's accusing the FP board of being taken over by fringe people is like the Sunnis not voting in Iraq and then complaining about lack of representation in the government.

If Hannity and friends (presumably the good people) left this forum to be taken over by fringe elements (and IMHO, that's anything but the case), whose fault is that?

What a moronic thing for him to say.

The only thing Hannity's doing is bringing more attention to the site, which is actually not a bad thing if it encourages more conservatives to get active and participate in the political process.

His self-promotion and his preening and vanity have become Bill O'Reilly-like, and that's saying a lot. I do understand that you need to be an entertainer along with the political commentator. But Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck and Rush do that a thousand times better than Sean and O'Reilly.

I probably agree with all of Sean's positions.....

****

This is what always amazes me....*gratitude is not the attitute.....faultfinding....and tearing down is PC

If we want to win the good fight the creator has always encourage us to find something good about each other and build on it!

But what most do is say Yeah "I probably agree with all of Sean's positions....I just don't think much of him as a commentator."

*Murmurer....Moses stutter so I don't think his delivery would have passed your standards either!

I heard that show, where you were singled out and Sean gave FR a big applause.

It seems that I was the ONLY person to include that quote. I wonder why nobody else cared to give the entire quote;or maybe I know...most people just want to trash Sean.

BRAVO,well said, and many thanks for your reply...it's spot on! Savage is garbage and those who think that he's for real, need a reality check.

Brilliant post, MarIboro! It pretty much backs up my point, that Hannity wouldn't want to risk associating himself (more precisely, his TV persona) with us, because it could be bad for his image. Since Sean Hannity(tm) is what the advertisers pay for, he's not going to jeopardize his career over a little thing like principle, is he?

Sorry, but I just have to laugh. Oh, the big, salty tears that stream down Freeper faces every time a Rush Limbaugh or a Sean Hannity or some other hairsprayed, chuckleheaded media idol gets busted for buying dope from his housekeeper or admits his disatste for you and your kind, or is otherwise revealed to have feet of clay! Boo hoo hoo! Say it ain't so, Joe!

I'll explain it to all of you in simple terms, folks: radio talk-show hosts and other media personalities are actors. They are faking it. It's all schtick. They are not people "just like you and me" -- conservative working people who live in the world of paychecks and payments. They are entertainers -- people who make a lot of money for delivering audiences to sponsors. They are neither politicians nor true believers, and the only reason they seem to be "conservative" on the air is that most of the people who have the free time needed to listen to talk radio are middle-aged or older white men who tend to be cranks -- oops, I mean strongly opinionated in the rightward direction.

(Don't believe me? Check out the stuff advertised on talk radio: stay-hard cream, hair-loss tonic, weight-loss pills, dating-for-divorcees companies, and BUY GOLD GOLD GOLD FOR THE COMING WORLD COLLAPSE NOW! If pot-smoking black teenagers were the biggest talk radio audience out there you can bet your bottom dollar that you'd be listening to the liberal Pimp-Daddy Limbaugh show and the hash-huffing Street Dawgg Hannity program. Advertisers buy time on shows to which their potential customers listen.)

To reiterate: talk radio is all showbiz, folks, no more real than pro wrestling, so please stop being surprised each time one of your talk-show heroes is unmasked as a druggie or a Beltway suckup or Just Another Media Whore. Anyone who ever believed that Rush or Hannity (or Savage, or Hewitt, or you-name-it) is "in touch with the mainstream" of American life is fooling themselves. These are people who go to the Super Bowl every year, belong to Burning Tree, own yachts, know Senators, and never drive any car over a year old. They are not bad people, but they are people playing a role for money, and the sooner you talk radio fans realize that you don't get paid the big bucks for being yourself or telling the truth on radio and/or TV - you get paid for being able to post big ratings numbers so your network can charge maximum price to the makers of new StayHardPlus with Ejacu-Gard and Slim 'n' Fuzzy Weight-Loss/Hair Growth Tonic, the sooner the day will come when the tears stop flowing.

B-Chan

BRAVO!!!!!

O'Reilly really tried to put her down, and it got a little heated. She did not back down one iota and repeated her charge.
