Kid Rock, the vulgar rock-rapper who initially had been lined up to headline the youth concert next week as part of the inauguration festivities for President Bush, will not be apppearing after all. "He's not performing," a spokesman for the Presidential Inauguration Committee confirmed for WND. No further information about the cancellation of Kid Rock was available at press time. Word that the rapper will not join JoJo and Hilary Duff as performers at the Jan. 18 concert, which will be hosted by Bush twins Barbara and Jenna, comes after WorldNetDaily and other outlets publicized the fact that the committee was planning to feature Kid Rock, which caused several pro-family organizations to ask their supporters to protest his appearance. don't think the argument is about sexuality, but how it is portrayed. Didn't a poll show Republicans have better sex lives than Dems? I'm all for sex between a husband and wife - hope that doesn't sound too radical.

HAve you been in the threads where most freepers think pre-marital sex is ok? Or are you talking about other things.

Toby Keith is a Democrat tho- so I don't be so sure he even voted for the President. He has also said that in years down the road we will see this war as a mistake. I love Toby Keith- and he supports the troops, like Kid Rock does...So I would give him a pass. I wonder if he sears ever tho? I know he smokes pot with Willie and drinks beer... UH OH!
You have to wonder, at any rate. He doesn't come across as a stable individual, at the very least.

If folks don't stand up to the Don Wildmon types when they try to drive out a Kid Rock or someone like that, then we might as well get used to it. I wonder how many of the 18-29 demographic we lost becuase Howard Stern was beating the drums for Kerry after the whole indecency fuss broke out at the Super Bowl went way beyond just dealing with that incident.

WASHINGTON, DC --- "If Kid Rock is willing to confirm the reality of post-abortion trauma in men who have participated in the killing of their pre-born children, then why does Big Abortion deny that post-abortion trauma exists?" asked Erik Whittington, director of Rock for Life, a division of American Life League.
In his song called "Abortion," from the album "The History of Rock," Kid Rock torments over a father's loss of his aborted son:

"These haunting lyrics tell the tale of man so tormented with post-abortion suffering that he is on the threshold of committing suicide," Whittington said.
Rock For Life does not endorse Kid Rock's music or lifestyle, and unconditionally rejects the idea of suicide. But Whittington thanked Kid Rock for revealing the reality of post-abortion trauma for men. He also urged both men and women to seek post-abortion healing as a means of confronting the pain. "Another American Life League division, Rachel's Vineyard Ministries (1-877 -HOPE-4-ME), is there to help," he said.
Kid Rock has blasted his rock peers who are involved with politics - because none of them flew to Iraq to perform for their war heroes.
The rocker wowed troops when he and actress Brittany Murphy jetted off to meet and greet soldiers in Baghdad last year, and now he's angry that those who didn't salute men and women stationed in Iraq are touring to raise cash for President George W. Bush's rival John Kerry on the Vote For Change tour.
He states, "You see this thing now where like Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi - like I love all these guys as musicians - they're gonna raise money for John Kerry. God bless 'em."
"But, before you go and do that, why don't these motherf***ers go over there and play for our soldiers in Iraq? I'm not vocal about my views on the war. I'm just vocal about my views on the troops."
Rock, real name Bob Ritchie, insists rockers have no right getting involved with politics.
He adds, "I do not believe that artists or actors and people should be out there like voicing their full-blown opinions on politics because, let's face it, at the end of the day, I'm not that smart of a guy. I play rock 'n' roll, that's what I do.
"Who would you trust to make your decisions, (Secretary of Defense) Donald Rumsfeld or the Dixie Chicks?"
Rock made his remarks while hosting an MTV barbecue for a group of soldiers returning from Iraq at his ranch home in Detroit, Michigan.
The rocker admitted he'll always be immensely proud of the soldiers he has met: "They don't make the decisions. They get up and go do their job."
