The money that we spend to buy stamps has those words on them, why shouldn't we put them on our envelopes we use. *Excellent* idea!
Thank you for the update on your sister. Continued prayers for her full recovery.

Good Afternoon!
This is probably a bad time to say this but I have a problem, something that has been knawing at me for nearly two months (Well, longer than that, but this happened just a couple of weeks after the election)
I was hoping there was someone here who can help me sort this out.
You all know how much I support the President, I will always do so!:o)
And you know I am a committed Christian My TRUE HERO is JESUS CHRIST.
One day in November just a couple of weeks after that spectacular win on Nov. 2 by our adorable President I was in the laundry room of my building I live in. I was already annoyed at some of the folks who also live there with thier attitude about me (worst mistake I made was letting them know who I planned to vote for!) Now certian ones hardly give me the time of the day.
I'm not saying everybody is doing this (there are some adults living here) At work there's no problem with it. my family doesn't treat me like a monster either (even if they were Kerry folks) They at least respect my views and my beliefs.
But when I was in that laundry room, there was also this older woman (87) that I got to know when I moved there. now she is a devoute Catholic Christian and she is very ill (she believes she's dying).
She neither likes nor trusts President Bush and she can't understand why I do. I try to explain but she won't hear what ever I have to say because she believes also that I've been "Brainwashed" and I shouldn't believe even the pictures or the speeches here or else were.
She basically accused me of putting the President above God, that's not the truth and you know it. (That's what I said to her) Now I was always taught to respect and honor older people so I didn't argue much with her. but the things she said to me really hurt and I can't seem to put them out of my mind and go on with being the good Christian American Republican Conservative Republican Bush supporter that I wan't to be without feeling I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone help me sort this all out?
I know this ain't a good time for this but I just couldn't let the new year start with this plagueing my mind anymore.
I wan't the shout out to her
I AM A CHRISTIAN!!!!!

Ignore the ignorant, you can not help them. What she said to you shows that she is hateful and unworthy of your respect. So rather than confront her, ignore her.

It sounds like she is putting politics above God to me. I may be wrong but that was my first impression.
I don't see how voting for the candidate that was pro-choice, and a few other things that I think are un-Christian, balances with the faith.
She maybe be confused or set in her ways politically. Bush is a God-fearing man who has a lot of respect for his faith. It shows in his lifestyle.
I think you did the right thing by not arguing with her, she doesn't need that. IMHO, you were the bigger person by not fighting back, as it won't change anything.
You know what you believe and no matter what anyone says that won't change. Just keep the faith! My unlce is a flaming liberal and a minister. We fight about this stuff all of the time!
To: Pippin
In spite of the fact that this lady is 87 years old, in spite of the fact that you think she is a devout Catholic Christian, she can be wrong. I would not discuss this with her any longer. Just be there for her in her illness if she needs you. I think that's what Jesus would do.

If she were younger, I'd say, "Pop her in the mouth!"
Seriously, the elderly are bombarded with leftist crap, AARP, Nework TV, etc. many become parrots of what they hear from these sources.

Living in a place were most of the people are over 55 I know that. And I really don't speak to them anymore because the mopre I contradict them the angrier they seem to get at me so I just don't say more than good morning or good evening to them ever since the election especially.

No kidding about that, my grandma had a picture of kerry and edwards on her fridge for the last few months of the campaign. She thinks they're swell. She is a Roosevelt democrat and doesn't understand what that party has become.
Because it was ol' granny, I dealt with it, but if it was one of my pals I would have run screaming from the house.
To: Pippin
Hi (((((Pipster))))))
Knowing that you are true to God and yourself, you have nothing to prove to anyone else. What He knows about you is what matters most.
Don't feed into the perverse glee that people on the other side get by accusing you of being something that you are not. Ignore them. That frustrates them even more.
I have done my fair share of ignoring - "Turning the other cheek," if you will. They can't stand it.
Be sure to say St. Michael's prayer often to keep satan's minions away. If you allow these people to upset you, you are playing into the evil one's hands.
Hang in there and plan on having a Blessed 2005!
