Pres. Bush's vote total from the Nov. 2004 election has now exceeded 61 1/4 million votes which is nearly 11 million more votes than he received in 2000! The national vote count is winding down. Pres. Bush's final vote total should approach 61.5 million. The current AP vote count is lagging by more than 600,000 votes.
Ya need to turn that map into a 1000 piece jig saw puzzle...
they may wanna be rethinking all that counting of those extra votes - it's getting embarrassing - for them
what's the % split now?
because more people came out to vote than ever before.
Doesn't diminish our Reagan in any way...but sure sticks it to the dimmies
Anyone heard anything about New Mexico, they were supposed to be done with there count Monday
They found 86 more votes in a locked bathroom in Dona Ana County last night, but Mr. Bush is still leading by over 6000 votes last night. There could still be several more locked bathrooms to be found yet, it depends on how many more votes they need.
"What does this make the final %? 52/48, 53/47.....?"
The vote % is still Bush 51% Kerry 48% because, of course, Kerry has also been receiving votes (especially in CA where Kerry is taking a majority of the absentee votes).
This does not diminish the truly staggering amount of votes that Pres. Bush has received. Not only has he garnered 11 million more votes than in 2000, Pres. Bush has also broken Pres. Reagan's 1984 record by nearly 6 million votes!
But what does that do to the percentage? What percentage did Reagan win and what percentage did Bush win?
Interesting that about 750,000 more Californians voted for President Bush than did Texans.
Maybe they have more people there?
A mandate? You call this a mandate?
Yes and get used to it!
My parents live in Boca Raton (the "buckle" of the South Florida "bagel belt"). Bush did NOT do well there.
Okay...one more time. Those of you being held hostage in states that are dominated by these blue population cesspools, you need to hold your "conservative" representatives accountable when they go to the state legislature to vote on how to spend your tax dollars. Why should the cities continue to sop up an unfair share of the state's money making the welfare class and the socialist educrats comfortable? Your tax dollars ought to be spent in your rural counties, patching up roads, improving the elementary and high schools for students instead of gangbangers, providing rural medical facilities etc. If you take away their goodies, the urban dependent class will have less incentive to vote, because they won't be worried about losing their benefits, because they won't have any.
You should see these Annenberg numbers.
Bush JA Rating %55

And here's the bottom line. The Democrats and their media accomplices continue to insult the 61 million people who voted for Bush. This is their bizarre way of reaching out and moving right for the election four years from now. The trouble is that it's really hard for a centrist Democrat to make it out of the Democratic National Convention.
Pleez! Dial down the hostility! Get a grip! It's sarcasm, referring to Margeret Carlson's LA Times column, in which she said "only" 51% was not a mandate. Of course, it's a mandate, and Ms C is a fool. Sheesh, people keep hopping onto posts with daggers drawn, without a little thinking.
or a lot of mosquitoes
Soooo, does this mean Kerry WON'T be inaugarated in January?
I'm just asking cause the DU says Kerry WILL be inaugarated, because the Ohio vote count is all screwed up and Kerry only conceded to give the lawywers time to, ahh, hmmm, oh shoot, I forgot. What was it they were going to do?
The Democrats have refined vote fraud to an art form. They didn't have that capability in '84. Plus there are more voters now, than there were in '84.
NO ONE will ever top President Ronald W. Reagan, ever, not no way, not no how.
I love dis contry...
Great post! Now if you would only make that into a bumper sticker you'd have a best seller.
