President Bush and Prime Minister Blair met today in the Oval Office and had lunch together after a 30 minute Press conference where the two men spoke about their mutual commitment to win the war on terror and a peaceful settlement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO SANITY ISLAND!
Thanks Mike.. wonderful pix of my two favorite world leaders...
the dummies at the presser.. complete Jack a$$e$
Thanks Mike.
The press is/are capable of incredibly stupid and immature questions. That was a prime (and insulting) example.
I have missed "A Day in the Life..."! Don't those two look like they enjoy being together? You don't see GW look that relaxed in front of the media very often.
"That was a pretty immature question, IMO."
It was absolutely STUPID!!!! Can you imagine the press asking Clinton or Carter a childish question like that, using petty rumor-mill stuff like that for a serious press conference! No wonder GW doesn't trust those idiots!
I just love seeing Blair and Bush together.......
Yes it was. I wonder who the idiot was that asked the question. Was it Dan Rather?
**The press is/are capable of incredibly stupid and immature questions. That was a prime (and insulting) example.**
Maybe Americans are not aware but in the UK the press are always calling Tony Blair GWB's poodle. IMHO I think they have got it wrong though I think it is a much more equal relationship than that
I would like to know who it was also. I wonder if it was one of ours or Blair's?
Why, you don't think King Dan would lower himself to show up at a mere press conference, do you? He leaves that to the plebs!
I think this one is my favorite.....
I love it when they look directly into each other's eyes. There is such a firm look of respect and understanding there.
By the way, does anyone know if that long hall has a name?
I wish your countrymen could really see them together. You can see that they are complete equals and enjoy visiting one another. I think a lot of your anti-war citizens in Britain just have a hard time with Blair supporting us in the war on terrorism. They wouldn't feel llke that if Westminster or the houses of Parliment had been hit by a plane!
If UK wants to compare him to a canine, they should call him a Labrador Retriever, due to his loyalty and the tenacious way he stays with Bush. A poodle is the essence of a pampered lap dog which is easily cowed; i.e. John Kerry. However, they do have it wrong, Blair's politics are lacking in the domestic agenda, but his morals are seemingly of high value. IMO, he genuinely believes this is the way to a safer world and a safer Britain. The media would rather fawn over a dead terrorist and make political hey of his deserved death than to be forced to make a moral judgement. Why? Because the majority lack any moral compass to do so.
"By the way, does anyone know if that long hall has a name?"
THE LONG RED HALL???!!
It was David Chance from the Times in London.
I will wait until I see similar pictures with Zapatero, hahahaha.
President Bush and Prime Minister Blair both look very good, considering what they have both been through in the last few years. God bless them both.
RE: Arafat--
I got an email from his wife!!! If I help her get the money over here, I get part of it!!!!! Isn't that EXCITING?!?!?! I can't imagine where she got MY email address, but I see easy street ahead, as soon as she gets the money transferred to my account!!!!!
LOL!
No, you're right. He is too much of an elitist snob to lower himself in that way. I am so tired of the media. I wish we could cut out the malignancy that is growing in it.
