**The press is/are capable of incredibly stupid and immature questions. That was a prime (and insulting) example.**

Maybe Americans are not aware but in the UK the press are always calling Tony Blair GWB's poodle. IMHO I think they have got it wrong though I think it is a much more equal relationship than that

I wish your countrymen could really see them together. You can see that they are complete equals and enjoy visiting one another. I think a lot of your anti-war citizens in Britain just have a hard time with Blair supporting us in the war on terrorism. They wouldn't feel llke that if Westminster or the houses of Parliment had been hit by a plane!

If UK wants to compare him to a canine, they should call him a Labrador Retriever, due to his loyalty and the tenacious way he stays with Bush. A poodle is the essence of a pampered lap dog which is easily cowed; i.e. John Kerry. However, they do have it wrong, Blair's politics are lacking in the domestic agenda, but his morals are seemingly of high value. IMO, he genuinely believes this is the way to a safer world and a safer Britain. The media would rather fawn over a dead terrorist and make political hey of his deserved death than to be forced to make a moral judgement. Why? Because the majority lack any moral compass to do so.
