If UK wants to compare him to a canine, they should call him a Labrador Retriever, due to his loyalty and the tenacious way he stays with Bush. A poodle is the essence of a pampered lap dog which is easily cowed; i.e. John Kerry. However, they do have it wrong, Blair's politics are lacking in the domestic agenda, but his morals are seemingly of high value. IMO, he genuinely believes this is the way to a safer world and a safer Britain. The media would rather fawn over a dead terrorist and make political hey of his deserved death than to be forced to make a moral judgement. Why? Because the majority lack any moral compass to do so.
Morals are another thing not high on the British agenda unfortunately if you remember my first few posts on the dose this was to do with that very subject and how I felt that there was a spiritual and moral awakening in the States that we just do not have in Britain anymore. This I feel is by no small measure due to the last four years of the Bush administration.
The media will fawn over dead terrorists until thier own arses are threatened. Then they will whine and stomp like the spoiled brats they are, that nobody protected them. The Brit reporters were very smarmy today. Pirahna's out for blood with that last question intended as nothing more than a "Gotcha!" moment. Tabloid and juvenile.
Good evening all. (/rant)
