I worked the rally a week ago in Westlake/Cuyahoga county suburb.Very incredible experience. After I saw the turnout I felt very confident. They had people signing up drivers and phone help and whatever you wanted to sign up for and they were volunteering in droves...great experience.
It's close, but it doesn't look good...
S.C. Senate District 28
Dick Elliott.............13,053
Katherine Jenerette...12,373
63 of 69 precincts reporting
680 votes back with 6 precincts left to go. :(
And unfortunately, the Rats are winning my local State Senate (Joel Lourie) and House (Leon Howard) races as well.

You are too funny.
I just love to see DUmmies going down the drain!
((("Damn straight! My wife and I, both registered Democrats, voted for W." )))
GOD BLESS YOU!
Dan Blather of SeeBS is calling Pennsylvania for Kerry! >:-(
It's too early to call that
Those whopping Fla. numbers for Bush come gift wrapped courtesy of the Swift Boat Vets ads...all those retired vets and extended families. I hope O'Neill and his band of brothers are lighting up victory cigars tonight. And I hope GW asks them to the WH.
Riots? I remember them vividly in Los Angeles around the same time frame.. and your dad was right...
Maybe. Good to se AZ for Bush. That's HUGH.
CNN just called Pa for Kerry.
And don't forget the ever popular "Mosh" song by Eminen that was supposed to get out the youth vote.
I heard somebody say something really insightful a week or two ago about the Dems counting on the youth vote.
Howard Dean supposedly had "the youth vote" and we know where that got him.
Secularists don't pray.
Bless you! An American Father & I have two kids . . . girl 16 and boy 14 . . . your Mam has taken on a tall order, the girl is a terrible tomboy and prankster and the boy is wild as a buck, he could wreck a junkyard with a rubber hammer. :-D
redsoxliberal (xxx posts) Tue Nov-02-04 10:34 PM Original message Time to face facts... Florida is going for Bush... They are 85% done counting, and we are down 275,000. Ohio, on the other hand, looks pretty good. Cuyahoga is just beginning to report, and we are 100,000 votes down... As it stands now, Kerry will pick up almost 200,000 votes if the current trends continue. We will win PA... and if we can pull out Ohio, then we definitely are still in this thing.
speedoo (xxx posts) Tue Nov-02-04 10:38 PM Response to Original message 10. Yes, I see Kerry winning Ohio. Cleveland will put him over the top. Florida is likely gone, probably because shrub won a lot more Jewish votes this time around. Of course we have PA in the bag, so it will come down to the Midwest and Joe Lockhart is saying Kerry will hold the midwest states. Ohio is the key state, it gives Kerry a margin for error.
mistertrickster (xxx posts) Tue Nov-02-04 10:46 PM Response to Original message 19. I agree I think Florida is gone over to the dark side. Why are you Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 10:47 PM by mistertrickster optimistic about Ohio? Bush is up by five percentage points. Also, Michigan is NOT coming in very good. I don't like the fact that ALL the flipping exit polls seem to be way off . . . Tell me how we're gonna win Ohio. Please!
Blather sounds so damn pompous...What a jerk!
We should not gloat. It seems I remember we were all confident in 2000 too. It looked like Bush was sweeping it and suddenly Gore caught up. We still need to be careful.
I just knew he was evil .
I just don't understand this.
