About the only bad thing about this poll is the figures for Florida which has Kaerry ahead +5, more than the direct opposite to the Quinnipiac poll that came out this morning with President Bush ahead by 8 points! Overall, that leaves Prsident Bush nicely ahead overall at Reaclearpoliics at Florida, Ohio, Wisconson, Iowa, New Mexico and Nevada. http://realclearpolitics.com/ A very comfortable position to be in going into tomorrow's elections. President Bush will win.

The Florida polls are wacky as all get out.
Not sure what is going on down there.
Many polls show Kerry ahead, many show Bush ahead.
The good news is that more of the untrustworthy polls are on the pro-Kerry side.
Correct me if I'm wrong. But didn't Fox New show polls at 11am that showed Bush losing this election and Kerry winning it all? I thought they said it was Kerry 49%, Bush 47% and everyone running to Kerry's side.
Go Bush! I'll be glad when the real poll is taken.
Fine with me. House picks the President and Senate picks Vice President.
Exactly. If George W. Bush can't win a state that Jeb Bush won by 12-13 points two years ago -- with a roaring economy in that state, no less -- then the Republican Party ought to be out of business by Wednesday.
Yep.
The fox fla. poll definitely is whacked. It also has castor at +6. Not even Zogby has gone to that length; nor has anyone else. The Fox poll obviously polled more dems than reps in Fla. to get their presidential and senate result. Should be disregarded.
"If Jeb won by 13 Bush is definitely going to win."
Yes, in a year that McAwful said that they would put ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING at beating Jeb Bush in 2002, they totally flopped.
Jeb won by 12/13%.
It's just Fox trying to loose viewers, think nothin of it.
=P
In two years the demographics have not changed that much, with the exception of the more conservative trend to move away from Dimocrat strongholds to the more rural areas.
Betty the Muslim "excuse maker" Castor campaigned with Janet "Waco" Reno, winning her no friends.
Florida is doing quite well, for Florida standards, and unless the people have become braindead and think the hurricanes were GWB's fault, he's a winner.
Jen said on Rush that Republicans are activated in Florida...and he thinks the President will take Florida.
Look at the rallies. Little crowds for Kerry, and HUGE crowds for Bush.
Rush just said that with the Gallup Poll, they are using a model where they factor in 90% of the alleged undecideds for Kerry. I think that 90% is pie-in-the-sky garbage.
The people commissioning these polls ought to cease doing business with the ones that end up very wrong. Why keep throwing money at them?
In a 269/269 tie, it would go to the House of Representatives, with each Congressional Delegation getting one vote. Do the 'Pubbies have 26 Congressional Delegations?
Also,
From Article II, Section 1... The person having the greatest number of votes shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such majority, and have an equal number of votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately choose by ballot one of them for President; and if no person have a majority, then from the five highest on the list the said House shall in like manner choose the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by States, the representation from each state having one vote; A quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. In every case, after the choice of the President, the person having the greatest number of votes of the electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal votes, the Senate shall choose from them by ballot the Vice President.
Does this mean that if 1/3 of the House decided to hide out in... say... Oklahoma, there would not be a quorum in the House and they could not elect a President? You think the Donks might try it?
Same here. I really think Bush is going to win Florida by at least 2% overall. MSM is pushing hard, but I think it's a pipe dream for the rats. It really could cost Kerry tomorrow if he loses Ohio. He put so many chips in that bag it could turn out to bite him in other midwestern states.

Jen who? I can say from first hand experience the liberals are really getting their nutcase base out in South Broward.
Now that is one amendment I will gladly get behind -- no more polls! I hate polls.
Florida is going Bush -- all you had to do was watch kerry's rally in Orlando to know that Bush has won Florida -- going to win Ohio as well!
As for Fox News polling along with the rest of the polls, I think Freepers could do a much better job and be fairer about it. Fox News lost me again this morning with their coverage of Kerry!
