Last ditch appeal to Libertarians and Constitution voters:
11/1/2004 | agitate

Is your protest vote worth 4 years of John Kerry? Are you willing to risk appeasing terrorists, sellout to the UN and the EU, more taxes, less for the military, homosexual marriage and activist judges who will be there long after the president is gone, your for vote today?

Sometimes you have to lose a battle to win the final war. Is a vote for a candidate who will not win worth 4 years of Kerry’s extreme liberalism? I hope not.

Your grandmother was right. I agree with you, you are not going to agree with the President on everything, but vote for the one who most closely fits your beliefs! He also when elected has to remember that he represents the whole country, if he has any integrity.

"The true colors of the anti freedom people show themselves every time."

Could just be the true colors of the pro-civilization people.

Well, maybe a few of them will be swept out of here in the process. We can hope.

No, the fact that this traitor is even being considered is NOT the President's fault dear, it is the fault of the MSM who have lied, covered up, cheated, committed fraud for , and just plain have spit out propaganda in order to keep the voters STUPID.

If the media is so powerful and anti-Bush, why did he strengthen its power with CFR at the expense of our constitutional freedoms? Is he stupid?

I see acid-tongue 'sunnyside' can't resist another hatefest.

Yeah, another "christian" spewing hate and bearing false witness. I remember when some of them actually acted christian, now they just post scripture on their profile and call it a day. LOL

Civilized people don't need the force of violence to get along. They aren't hooked on violence.

Civilization at the point of a gun? Nice try, but you have it precisely backwards.

The larger the amount of government force required, the smaller the civil society. The size of government is a measure of how civilized a society is, this one flunks.

You're right. If everyone is allowed to "just do it," civilization is much stronger. I mean, if you look at America today the success of that attitude is just smashing.

Thanks for the link. That's all I was asking for. I don't live on FR and I'm not going to blindly vote for someone unlike a lot of the Bushbots on this site. I've seen the lefties anti Bush list and I know what most people on this site think, I just wanted and non biased list of some of what Bush has done the last 4 years.

And my name calling was in response to being shouted at. Read the post.

"You want me to vote for Bush by trying to make the case that he is the lesser of two evils."

Certainly. Any candidate is the 'lesser of two evils'. Conquently, if you only vote for those who are completely without 'evil', then you will never vote. Just ask yourself, do you agree with every thing about any candidate?

Perhaps not, so I will vote for the candidate who's views most closely match my own.

" FR's own "sleepers" But when the president wins, and he shall, they can ball crawl back and sleep for the next 3 1/2 years. "

No offense but many of us don't eat, drink, sleep politics 24-7, only when it is critical like this election. Many of us are not semi or fully retired either. Yours truly, sleeper Sunnyside :)

The fact may be that there are only two major partys today that have a chance of winning nationwide, perhaps even statewide, elections but that is the fault of the voters.
If you vote, period, you have done your civic duty.
It is not a wasted vote, it is not an unpatriotic vote no matter who you vote for, it is not a vote that is thrown away.

Carp all you want about fringe partys, the fact is that they CAN be spoilers and the major partys know that it can happen.

"I made many pleas, face to face this weekend."

Well, good for you! And I mean that. Now, if you only had all the facts at your disposal, you could not only educate those people, but possibly many others as well.

The "inflamatory statement" was designed as such. Not just aimed at you, of course, but to any other FReepers who have their heads firmly planted in the sand as well. I've tried several times in my comments to get FReepers to at least open a book, or seek out information, but usually to no avail. Maybe if you get mad enough, you will strive to become aware of all the facts concerning the issues previously mentioned.

Furthermore, I don't consider my vote as being a "protest" vote. The time for protesting is also over, at least for this election cycle.

I am a libertarian who is NOT in favor of gay marriages, however I will be voting NO on prop-2 in MI. I believe that the Constitution is NOT the place to define a marriage.

If you have no logical argument, make up a position for your opponent, and debate that. It's called a strawman argument, and lots of losers use it.
