ABCNEWS HOLDS TERROR WARNING TAPE
**Exclusive**
In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.
ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.
The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.
ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.
"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate [the tape]," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning.
The terrorist's face is concealed by a head dress, and speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual, but US intelligence officials believe that man may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman - a southern California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.
According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.
The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

Look, I'm as cynical as the next guy about the MSM in the last week before an election, but there has been a standing policy of not running these videos. First, they're propaganda. Second, they're often signals to attack.

I hope that ABC is doing the correct thing. Not airing until authenticated by CIA. It would be devastating to ABC if it turned out to be fake, especially in light of RatherGate.
Best case scenario, ABC gets it sometime today or yesterday, passes along to CIA, CIA authenticates as best as possible and then allows ABC to air.
ABC is dealing with issues related to National Defense. If they were to hide it, it could be considered teasonous.

Actually, that would be the left's response to Bush winning next Tuesday. I fully expect riots to break out in some socialist democratic controlled areas. I fully expect them to go to the White House and other government buildings and cause problems. Wednesday next week would be a very good day to stay home.

My thoughts exactly... this missing weapons story seemed too random to be their October surprise. It only works for Kerry if ,God forbid, there is an attack somewhere. The seeds of doubt and blame have already been planted by the MSM, and they only need to speculate that it was done with the missing RDX. Hence, all Bush's fault.

Let me speculate wildly here for a moment. ABC receives a tape from someone in Wierdistan. They immediately contact governmental authorities (I believe they would do this). The authorities tell them not to show it until they can work with it and ABC does so, not over political concerns, but because they are sensibly asked to do so.
It appears it is an anti-Bush video. The headline indicates it's a attack on the USA.. How can that help Bush?
