Exactly, I wish Cheney could have given a sharper comment on this when asked about Edwards selection. It seemed to me it was totally poll driven. I mean, lets stop and think, why would Kerry select Edwards? Their whole campaign is poll driven. They endorsed ever suggestion of the 9/11 commission like the day afterwards, without even reading them, just cuz it probably polled well in focus groups.
Remember when the press was saying the polls were saying that the election was all going to be about domestic issues. Then the press would run all these doom and gloom stories on poverty, economey etc.. All of a sudden it's back to terrorism. Why? Cuz the Republican convention made it so - They LED the people instead of the people leading them. People know the truth when they see it. Bush isn't poll driven, Kerry is. That's reason enough to choose your vote right there.
Gwen's statement about African-American women contracting AIDS in higher numbers is directly related to their boyfriends and husbands trips to prison. They in turn bring home STDs and pass it on to those they live with or have sex with. Not to mention higher their drug use themselves.

I just finished moderating a campus debate watching the debate live.
At this university in Ohio the results were:
137 thought Cheney won
33 thought edwards won
It was not close. Public comments were overwhelmingly against Edwards.
Edwards is a glib kid!
Cheney is a real seasoned manager with moderate age.
isn't there a program called CHIPS for kids who don't have health insurace. The real issue is that parents dont'sign their kids up for CHIPS, not that they don't have insurance.
How are they going to strengthen the Military by cutting the bunker buster program and the missile defense program? Guess they want them to fight with SPIT BALLS!

That program is alive and well in Texas. I used it with my daughters for 3 years before I came back active duty. It saved my butt with my youngests asthma.
Wow. Maybe the young aren't as brain dead as I thought. You all are too much fun...but my boss is riding in the car with me tomorrow and I've got to get my beauty sleep.
It is very obvoius that Kerry and Edwards have a plan for everything. It is equally obvious that nobody has the foggiest clue what the details of any of their plans are.
I guess the only way anyone will be able to find out exactly what their plans are is to vote for them.
Reminds me of paying a dollar for a grab bag, only to open it up and discover about ten cents worth of nothing. Once, I felt so cheated, I actually went back and bought a second one. Then it dawned on me, I was being ripped off - I was six years old at the time.
