**I tend to think the more people realize what Kerry actually *said* last night, the less people will like it.**
Agree with you, but it will take a few days for ABCNNBCBS to get the news.

"[Kerry] who got the questions early"
WTF. That would be a real story if true.

To be honest with you, I think those are a bunch of lame excuses. I didn't see the whole debate, but from what I saw it was clear that Bush wasn't very well prepared. And he's terrible in that formal, stand-up debate format.
He didn't do all that badly, in retrospect -- and polls over the next couple of days will probably reinforce that. There's no questioning his sincerity and appeal to ordinary people; Kerry's major problem is that he spoke TOO well -- and sounds too similar to that effete jack@ss who disgraced himself and his nation in his testimony before the U.S. Senate back in 1971.

My 13 yr old son watched the debate and came up with Demoncan't and RepubliCan! I thought W won on making points that will last. Can't win a war you dont believe in, denigrate your allies etc.
Pray for W and Our Troops

The IAEA chief, Mohamed El-Baradei is distraught at the secretive nature of the US transfer of nuclear materials out of Iraq. He also continues to opine about the US confronting Tehran about its 18 year effort to conceal its nuclear weapon activities. Most analysts say the mullahs will produce a bomb in short order. El-Baradei said that he didnt want to take the Iran issue before the UN Security Council because Thanks for that article .. I hadn't seen that one before and of course haven't heard about it on the MSM

Hugh now playing a clip of Kerry citing the discredited Richard Clarke.
Hugh says it's one of the worst citations and analogies made in a presidential debate EVER.
Hewitt says this guy does not stay afloat for 5 weeks on this kind of rhetoric.

No place in the Constitution does it say the executive branch must prove anything to the world before any defense of America takes place. JFK advocates the conditional right of self-defense. Idiot. He is a Globalist, pure and simple, and I will just say it, a communist one at that.

Then that's something the GOP should have thought about before agreeing to a 9:00 PM start time, right?

Sean Hannity had a caller from Florida today who met President Bush yesterday while he was visiting one of the hurricane ravaged areas. He said that when the President left, he seemed to be upset over the plight of the people and their losses. He wondered how the President would then prepare for last night's debate!
To: Alberta's Child
Good, that is what my first reaction was.
I hope McCain is happy with what he hath wrought.

My mother in law called this morning. She is a Edith Bunker type. She means well but she is a ditz.
Her assessment of the debate was that Kerry talked a lot but didn't say anything.
