Hanoi John Kerry visited Jacksonville and was given a cold unwelcome by about 65 citizens and veterans AGAINST Kerry, to include 5 named FReepers.
Vietnam Veterans AGAINST Kerry were first on scene around noon with a huge Vietnam campaign ribbon with the words "Kerry LIED" emblazoned on it. OXENinFLA reconned the area at noon and sent me photos of the Vets to post and when I saw them, I decided to cut work short and head down there.
Warrior Nurse and his dog Apollo were there and razzing the democRATS with his bullhorn. He does a great Jesse Jackson impersation, but Jesse could never utter the words of wisdom Warrior Nurse uttered.
There were various other groups including Swift Boat Veterans AGAINST Kerry, Vietnam Veterans AGAINST Kerry, Veterans AGAINST Kerry, Iraq Veterans AGAINST Kerry, Christians AGAINST Kerry, Pro-Lifers AGAINST Kerry, Young Republicans, Duval County GOP for Bush.
We all had a good time and let the Kerry Kool-aiders know that they were supporting a man who sold out his fellow veterans, changed his foreign policy like most people change their socks, wants to raise taxes, and is an appeaser to terrorists!
We made it known to Kerry and his Kool-aiders that Jacksonville and Florida is BUSH COUNTRY!
Awesome job guys! Way to go!
Veterans Day is on November 2nd this year!
It sure is!
Thanks for the ping Chieftain. WOW - great photos throughout the thread and nice reports too. Looks like you all had a great time 'greeting' Kerry - good job!
Hehehe, sorry about the "font size!" (Newbie blushes)
Check it out, we FReeped Kerry yesterday!
It was great meeting you to Dutchgirl and Apollo send his FRegards as well. By the way I would like to nominate Apollo to be the mascot for the Jacksonville FReepers.
Great FReeping! Thanks for your effort and all the pics.
The Clerk will call the roll.
Ping to this pic I took at post 112............
Thanks to all for representing the rest of us so well! God bless you all for the courage to stand up for the sake of our great country.

I just came out of Winn Dixie w/last last minute things to a beautiful sunny tho cloudy sky, and found myself saying, "I love it here." May God keep all safe through this powerful storm w/its uncertainties, and may you and yours emerge even stronger and closer to God and each other after this one blows over.
