When he had already told us that CBS knew that Burkett was given the documents by SOMEONE ELSE?

Just like Watergate, the more Dan "Milhous" Rather stonewalls, the worst it will get for him. The parallels between Watergate and Rathergate are truly amazing. Deja vu.
Which brings up a worry: What if this topples Kerry? I read on NRO that all the DNC has to do to replace their nominee is have a majority of the 400 some-odd members of the national exec committee vote in a newbie. So we could have a repeat of NJ '02, when a well managed republican campaign is rendered moot by a last minute switcheroo.
The Judge at Fox News (legal adviser) stated that forgeries unless done to extract money are not prosecuted. And, if so, five years penalty both State and Federal.

Holy Sh-t! I so agree with you. This was a completely orchestrated campaign set up by (dnc?) - the talking-head talk-show "pundits" were all spouting the same thing - Bush's ANG service termination is suspect. Bush didn't show up for a physical (bfd). Bush got preferential treatment (I can only hope so). Bush shirked his obligations (not).
Then the dnc ad's about his ANG service (these things takes weeks to produce). Too bad the operation crashed and burned.
This is like a bad 'who's on first' skit.

This scenario makes sense to me- but it leaves us wondering WHO created the forgeries...and how many people were involved in passing them to CBS...
