According to the CBS News web site, tonight's CBS Evening News will address the latest developments in Rathergate.
Let's pile on.
5 Min Till the BIG Story!!
actually Clinton was impeached - it's his legacy! (he was not removed from office)
Can I jump onto your pile, please?

And this one is my favorite...

Thanks for the number Red. My son and I just called CBS and asked if Dan planned to apologize to President Bush tonight on the air. The girl told us both to be sure to watch the news tonight. (Not holding our breath.)
I understand that it is in the interest of the Dems and Rather to make Burkett the lone forger and into some kind of John Hinckley.
But it is sheer legal malpractice for Burkett to appear on national television under these circumstances. If he did not forge the documents, he at the very least has offered statements on the internet to incriminate himself in a conspiracy to offer dirty tricks in the campaign.
I understand that Burkett's lawyer has political motives and political aspirations, but this guy can not any more defend his legal advice to let Burkett appear, than Rather can defend himself as a journalist for referring to Burkett as an unimpeachable source.
There may be more holes in the story of how the documents got on the air than there were in the claim that the documents were authentic.
The question is will the MSM tire of the story and lose their will to extract the truth from Rather and his co-conspirators in the DNC.
This was an attempted coup. It is nothing short of treasonous to try to take down a sitting President in time of war with a criminal conspiracy to accuse him of a court martial offense of disobeying a direct order on the basis of forgeries so obvious that they did not pass the sniff test.
Barf bag ready
Tick.....Tick.....Tick
OK, we're on the air. Rather leads with latest beheading and ties it to Kerry's attack on W's Iraq policy.
The picture is fake but accurate!
Good grief! I think it should have been the top story. Now he's trying to downplay it. Scum!
It's accurate only for little more than 60 Minutes.
Blasted (censored)
His attorney made a statement today as well:

Former Save Our Springs chair Robin Rather and husband/guitarist David Murray are adopting an infant son. The new arrival, born June 14, is named Daniel Andrew Murray -- Daniel from the Rather side of the family tree and Andrew from the Murray side. But to family and friends, he's simply "Andy." David Murray already is predicting that his son's big hands will lead him to blues guitar fame. Rather, many of you may recall, had spent the first six months of this year considering whether to jump into the mayor's race -- assuming, as many did, that Kirk Watson would take an early leave to run for statewide office. But with Watson's 2002 plans still uncertain, Rather has turned her attention to matters closer to home. Apart from domestic concerns, Rather says it's business as usual. "I intend to continue in the role that I've been in for the past five years, as an environmentalist and an activist," she says. "Beyond that, it's hard to justify spending time on a race that may or may not happen. And before I make any decision, I'd have to check in with Andy first."
