Hannity just said a story will be filed later today that from sources inside CBS that the source of the documents is also the one who provided the Abu Grihab prison photos.
I guess then the question becomes, did the author of the forgeries select the kerning option? I have read elsewhere that document experts, having examined the memos, found no evidence of kerning. I think the points made about kerning in this thread and elsewhere are moot.
What I was saying, basically, is that there were different font sizes, but not THAT different. As you point out, it might be humanly possible that someone could order or have made a special selectric ball for scientific work or the like which could conceivably produce such a superscript of such a size, but the odds are probably one in a billion that a National Guard officer in Texas would have that equipment or would bother to use it in a private memo for the record which was unlikely ever to be seen by anyone else unless the s*** hit the fan sometime in the future.

I think you are giving them too much credit for their intelligence. These people THINK they are the smartest people on the face of the earth and us 'Great Unwashed', would never catch on to their deception.

Lets face it, how many on this forum, would have noticed the forgery, if it were not for one person? That's all it takes is ONE person to point it out and it snowballs. That's why the forger thought it wouldn't be noticed (if he was aware of it himself)
You should also consider the fact that it was picked up run, and is STILL running with the media, these people are VERY concerned about what story they back up and report.
This thing has taken on a life of it's own and in the end it IS going to proven forgery to everyone.

Be of better cheer. There is absolutely NO WAY this document is accurate. I bought in 1975 a USED IBM Executive (less than 5 yrs. old). It's too frustrating for any old typist to use. It's the LAST thing in the world any E-5's going to type on--much less an 06 who doesn't type!

This suggests that CBS does not have the originals AND they themselves have identified characteristics in the test that would not have existed given the technology used to produce the originals.
Kerning is not yet a moot issue ~ it may well be the only issue and you better believe it's going to be highly relevant in the various lawsuits CBS initiates against the folks who set them up ~ this sort of stuff drives out good paying advertisers you know.

They are wrong about orders not being sent to a Guardman's home address. Where else would they send them. It's not like he's in the squadron office, or even on the base, every day. All my orders as a reservist and guardsman came to my house.

Hi Jeff! Don't know if you remember me, I was a stand alone supporter of our troops, held a sign saying 'This war was Saddam's CHOICE!', outside our White House a few years back. You introduced yourself to me, we chatted, and watched a bunch of women line up to get some kind of special tour through the WH. When a guy tried to intimidate me (he was standing with a bunch of 'pink ladies', had lots of signs on the ground by WH front lawn fence, you helped me out! Even took my picture! LOL
Jeff-something really bothers me about Mary....Colonel Killian's son, in an interview with Sean on his radio show today, said that Mary contacted him and his mother several weeks ago, asking about documents and such. When Killian's son gave her a list of names of people who had flown with President Bush back then, one who had bunked with him, one who was President Bush's commander-Mary directly told him she was not interested because they were in the BUSH CAMP! I guess she discovered Killian's son and wife were also Bush supporters, since the left THEM out of their story, too!
It bothers me that this is how CBS laid the foundation for their so called investigative report!

Lives can be ruined over this sort of offensive and unfair, unbalanced and slanderous type of coverage.
