Kerry/Edwards lawyers warn TV stations over Swift Boat ad

In Rush's closing segment he said that he just received a story or document saying that lawyers for both the Kerry and Edwards teams were sending out letters to TV stations warning them about showing the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth advertisement!

The webmaster for Swiftboat Veterans for Truth was just on Hannity's show. He said their website is under a DOS attack.

This story has been out there for MANY months. If the media had been doing their job, the commentators would have been challenging Kerry's "war hero, everybody loves me" comments he made at the DNC convention.

He was overcompensating. Now that the response comes from "paid advertising" it seems like sour grapes.

We know who is right and who is wrong in this matter but the media is still Kerry's lap dog.

The letter to the stations reiterates that none of the men in the commerical were crew mates on either of the two boats Kerry commanded.

These men were witnesses to Kerry's service. They saw what they saw. What difference does it make whether or not they were under Kerry's command? Either they're telling the truth or thet are not.

We have yet to hear any specific denials from Kerry.

Assuming the pubbies take over massively in Congress, which I think will happen IF we don't get hit by another terrorist attack before 11/2, the dems can still make a heckuva lot of noise nationally, using the complicit media, to launch a frustrated attempt to impeach Bush, and Lord knows, waste a huge amount of W's team's time and energy while inflicting sword slashes on the GOP body politic.

They are all about revenge, especially if it train wrecks or in other ways slows down good government. They hate our idea of good government as much or more than we hate their vacuous idea of it.
