Kerry seems like a cross between Bob Dole on a bad day and Edmund Muskie. Hairs on my neck stand up as he is so electrifying.
He is a hell of a lot more entertaining then Kerry. :)

Bush's negatives suggest that the´middle of the electorate, the part that decides elections, has decided to fire Bush. That means they will check Kerry out, mostly in the debates, to see if it is safe to hire him.
Only if it is not safe to hire Kerry will they revert to Bush.
Kerry need not beat Bush in the debates, he merely must avoid career ending gaffes. He merely has to appear Presidential. Boring is good. "Wrong" on the issues doesn't matter. Charisma is nice but optional. All Kerry has to do is not look like a fool in the eyes of a politically illiterate undecided.
Our best hope is the ground game and to energize the base.
Somebody should start the "cash meter" right this second to see how much all they start promising is going to cost us!

It's really hard to listen to Kerry.
I think Kerry lost his speech notes. He is positively rambling. What in the world is he talking about? How could he not be better prepared for a speech he knows will get broad coverage. Oh wait, he's back to the Vietnam topic. I'm not sure Vietnam is going to win him the White House.
Yeah, I wonder if he is supposed to be representing the unions in the dem stereotypes they have behind Kerry. Note another gumchewer on the top right of the screen.

I didn't know South Africa is considered 'East Africa'. Laugh. Did you know Kerry served in Vietnam?
Hillary would have been the easiest to negatively define, but she would have eclipsed Kerry. Edwards will be easy to attack for a host of reasons. I am glad that Kerry didn't select a Sam Nunn who would have presesnted some real problems in terms of competence on national security issues.
He didn't know how to attack him, it didn't fit in his template of 2 Americas.
