Not to mention the fact that he was late paying his taxes on his beach front estate. That's gonna go over real well.

Unfortunately, this is a good strategic move for Kerry. But how anyone cannot see Edwards as an empty suit is beyond me.

I think the Kerry campaign burned the NY Post on purpose, just to embarass the newspaper for being one of the few media outlets not afraid to tell the truth about Kerry and Democrats in general.
Check the NY Post headline. Kerry picks Gephardt!

"Two Senators at that.
Kennedy and Johnson did it."
Yeah, but Johnson was a powerhouse in the Senate, unlike either of these two. And John Kerry is no John Kennedy.
Here's something I posted a few weeks ago,
"Oh please, please. I really hope that Kerry does pick Edwards as his running mate.
He won't make much of an impact in the south outside of the Carolinas (if he even makes a difference there), Edwards' background as a trial attorney is an opposition research dream, and they'll have to hose the studio down after Dick Cheney gets done with him in the debates."

I don't know... I think Edwards will play better with moderate dems than Gephardt would have...

An eastern liberal war-protestor senator and a southern liberal lawyer senator. I'm so scared.
Well, actually, I am. But that's me. The Nameless One's first victory broke my heart. His second shattered whatever was left of faith in the American electorate. Now, as I see the polls stay tight between W and this appalling excuse for a human being, I have no faith whatever in voters.
Fight hard, W; we need you to win.

Why don't we see how this went down before we declare the NYP toast :) The Breck Girl wasn't Jean's first choice....I'll wager he wasn't even third or fourth...

Not much of a surprise to me. The trial lawyers (huge Democrat contributors) must have had had a sit down with John Kerry. The blow dried beltway boys.
So you have two lawyers at the top of the Democrat ticket and two businessmen (non-lawyers) top of the Republican ticket. Then you have Nader who's a lawyer. God save this Republic from these self righteous bottom feeders.
Edwards job can be to coordinate post election legal challenges to GWBush's victory

This seems to actually MEAN something to women voters, unfortunately. We need competency tests before permitting people to vote. Require both hands above the waist when voting - and it should nullify the idiot soccer slut vote.

All four candidates are rich, white guys.
Not one woman. Not one black or hispanic.
