Just reported on Fox News
Yeah, it is suspicious. They couldn't find these people all week, yet within four hours of Mr. Johnson's death being announced they find them. Something is just not right here.
You know the first thought/image that occurred to me, when I heard about this, was a memory of that lowlife scumbag, treasonous, efn POS, Traitor Ted Kennedy waving "his" photos (from his collection) of the "abuses" at Abu Gharib(sp?) and b*tching about how awful it was.
I have been angry and sad all day (Can't say I'm shocked, after seeing the Nick Berg video). So here's what I demand as a citizen:
I want Traitor Ted and the rest of the useless worthless "senators" to be made to watch the videos of the Daniel Pearl and Nick Berg murders-full volume and unedited. Followed by the unedited photos of the 4 contractors dragged through the streets and their burned bodies hung on the bridge in Falluhjah, and then the unedited photos of Paul Johnson's murder. I think that's the least the lousy politicians could do.
Every single Senate and House member should be made to watch these images. No excuses, no saying they've already seen them. They make the decisions regarding the WOT. They need to see these.
I'm just totally fed up with the A$*holes not getting it. Since they were so eager to see the photo's of Abu Gharib , it needs to be mandatory that all of them see this photo and video show too.
Prayers for Paul Johnson's family.
I agree. Where's the video?????
It wasn't clear enough for any number of reasons. Thank you for your clarification though you certainly didn't need to use the ridiculous font size. I asked a series of questions because i wanted an honest answer not just some smart drivel. I don't trust the Saudis ( probably any more than you do). Time will tell all that much is accurate. Now you can cool your jets and let your heart rate return to normal
Probably like Monaco....you can calculate how many cops they have....multiply the number of road intersections by 4 ( three shifts 24x7 and one set on rotating leave)....very low crime rate.
You mean, their a$$ is grass and you're the lawnmower?
Excellent! Hey Al Mooron, justice is a b!tch isn't it?! By the way, how do you like the view from down there?
You've got it backwards. I am not the one who ordered our troops to stand down in Falluja, and Kerry is the one who wants to cut and run.
I hope you're right.
Well obviously it was clear, though maybe not to you. And as far as my comment not being clear for a number of reasons, provide some please. Out of a 360+ reply thread, yours was the only comment questioning what I wrote. Apparently everyone else who read my reply knew exactly what I meant, because several wrote that they agreed with me in my skepticism. Had you read on through the thread, you might have figured out what was being talked about. Your questions were a bit hostile, so if anybody should be cooling their jets...
Story now is that someone saw the body being dumped and called in the license plate number.
Is that supposed to be humorous?
Oh, puleeze! Is there a more common expression? I could have as easily said "it ain't rocket science".
The point being these terrorist assassins always seem to be killed rather than captured and questioned.
My reply was meant for you and/or Peach. Please italicize that which you are responding to and avoid confusion.
You can italicize if you like; I'll stick with bold font.
Hey if the blade fits they wear it...yes
Yes, now this makes sense. The Saudi police ran the plate number and pulled the car over for having an expired registration, and ended up in a shootout with the occupants.
Whatever.
When it comes to the arab world NOTHING makes sense.
I ran a google search on Laurie Mylroie and came up with this.
www.washingtonmonthly.com/ features/2003/0312.bergen.HTML
The author is Peter Bergen, who wrote a fairly comprehensive book on Bin Laden: Terror Incorporated. It's an attack piece.
Seems that the great divide on this issue is between those who think the Saudis should be blamed, and those who implicate Iraq. I guess Bergen is a liberal, but Mylroie served in Clinton's administration. This divergence might not correspond to conservative/liberal camps.
Another source I've followed is Robert Baer, who implicates Iran and Hezbollah as well as the usual suspects. This means terrorists cooperate across Shiite/Sunni lines. Baer says that these groups are ad-hoc, momentary co-operatives that dissolve as soon as they complete their attack. But he also repeats the importance of kinship ties.
Just wondered what you thought of these points.
Thanks.
I don't trust the Saudis any farther than I could throw Lake Michigan with a cocktail fork.
They will lie to us for fun.
They probably whacked 3 homeless dudes and said they got the terrorists.
