My bet-savvy Nancy will be livid if she suspects her beloved husband was used like this by a man who tried to thwart his efforts as President at every turn for a media attention stunt.
We will probably never know...but I have a feeling Nancy will be protecting her husband until the day she, herself, passes on to be with God.

Mitt Romney, Massachusetts Governor, Republican.

And I am confident that his ploy will be seen for the classless action that it is.
The networks will report the long lines waiting to pay their respects. The implications inherent in Kerry's drive-by visit will not need to be spoken. It is by such tokens that campaigns are broken.
This incident probably will not be Kerry's Dukakis in Tank moment, but it presages the defining moment.
Somewhat like Reagan's "I paid for this microphone" presages the firing of the air traffic controllers and the Berlin Wall speech.

Well, I think Dubya said to himself, "If the America people are as great as Reagan and I think, this Bum is toast."
I hope that's true.

Do not blame the Jr. Senator from NY on the gullible, blame it on vote fraud.
To: onyx
the man is a total disgrace.
No,he's a Leftist. They have no shame, no sense of disgace,They have only the sense off power and taking and holding that power and nothing on this Earth will stand in the way of that pursuit.

Is that an aging bartender from Cheers? Ted Dansin? (who cares about spelling for a leftist....)

I dunno - other dignitaries were also allowed to view the coffin without standing in line. They didn't turn it into photo ops, however. Only thing is the media isn't going to report that part of it. There's already a disgusting puff piece out on AP.
To: Old Sarge
Reagan himself taught us, "Trust, but Verify". Trust the Sheep if you like, but I want it verified - with votes.
Amen to that.
You're spot on.

This is not the funeral, this was supposed to be for locals to have a chance to say goodbye. "The Peoples" so to speak. Kerry showing up here was an effort to make himself photoop into one of the "peoples".
He could have easily waited to be the last person after teh cameras turned off but then there would not have been the same crowd.
I am surprised because his handlers have been hiding him pretty well before this.

As a Vietnam Vet ... I despised kerry for his actions in the 70's. His actions today has taken me to a new plateau. As far as I'm concerned ... he has desecrated the memory of the man I respected and idolized more than any other. I will NEVER forgive him for this despicable act and will do ANYTHING legal to ensure his defeat in November.
If he did any good today he put a face on the enemy within

I'd agree that they won this round if it weren't for that "thumbs up" picture. He just doesn't know how to behave.
