LOL! coffee spray on monitor.
Ichabod Kerry, looks both sleepy and hollow. I can't get past the chicken legs to even get a good caption.

Waitaminnit...WHAT snowboarding 'fall'?
After Kerry wrapped up the primaries, he went on vacation to UT or somewhere out west at a family home. While there, he fell down on a snowboard several times, after telling the press that he never falls down. The first fall, Kerry blamed on a secret service guy who got in his way and caused him to fall. According to one news report, Kerry fell around 6 times, but apparently not one of the press got a photo of a fall.
There were many threads about the snowboard fall on FR. Check around March 24 or so.

I'm surprised he's not riding a girls bike.
Maybe Tereza's is in the shop.

What does John Kerry have Written on his T shirt? I tried to figure that out as well. It looks to me like it says "Milwaukee Panthers." Can anyone elaborate?

Thanks. The end of February and most of March were...hectic. I wasn't able to FReep much at all for many weeks and was suffering severe withdrawl.

Is this the $6,000 bike? Yep. They took it straight to the bike shop, too... he must've scratched the paint. Hah, that reminds me of the old Warner Bros. cartoons where, following an automobile accident, the ambulance arrives and the medics take the *car* away on the stretcher, leaving the driver laying there. :-)
Make no mistake... any high-quality American-made bicycle with top-shelf parts is going to cost several thousand dollars. I don't begrudge the guy his choice of bicycle, but Kerry's attempts to appear youthful and vigorous are also serving to reinforce the general perception of him as an elitist. Same thing with the $$$$ haircut - ordinary people see that stuff and shake their heads in bemusement.
If Kerry is trying to look like "a man of the people", he has quite a ways to go before he catches up with the guy who drinks gas station coffee:

it is ...the t shirt for University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, thanks for reading it for me. Not sure why John Kerry has it on, unless it matches his outfit.

This must be one of at least two. The last time I saw a bike picture it was also on a Serotta, but a different one.
At least he has good taste in bikes - Serottas are 1st class custom Ti bikes - components look to be shimano dura-ace. If I had 1/100th his $ I would have the same bike in a heartbeat (but not puke orange). There are so many reasons to dislike the guy as a candidate IMO anyone who swipes at him for the cost of his ride is nit picking. A top of the line Serotta Legend Ti frame goes for ~5K with the most expensive fork option. With a good wheelset and dura ace build-up tack on another ~2.5k or so. From the curved look of the seat stay this may be a less costly frame model.
If the guy loves to ride, more power to him. Just so long as I don't have to see the secret service in a pace line after November.

I think I read on another thread that Kerry recently was in Wisconsin, guess he picked it up there. I think it is for his "man of the people" wardrobe motif.
